What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I saw Dr Sena Kihtir In 2023 for chronic back pain among a couple other conditions. My condition is very complex, so I prepared a print off of the most important and relevant factors that contribute to my pain, which she totally dismissed. I was looking into a spinal cord stimulator, something supposed to be among her expertise. When it came time to determine if we were to move forward with a spinal cord stimulator, she passed off all responsibility to my previous surgeon who has no expertise in that area. The only thing she did do was the worst possible thing she could do. Without providing something else to reduce my pain, she lowered the quantity of my pain medication, a medication I have been taking as is for over 10 years. The worst part about everything was she didn't even tell me about it! There was absolutely no discussion of changing my medication during the appointment!!! I didn't miss anything, my mom Is a nurse and was there with me. I found out Dr Kihtir had reduced my pain medication when I picked up my prescription and realized the quantity was less than it was supposed to be. I also found out she planned to reduce my prescription by the same amount every month. I asked if Dr Kihtir could give me a call or a message to explain what she was thinking and she refused to return my phone call! She is the absolute worst pain doctor I have ever met!!! I would avoid both Dr Kihtir and the United Pain Center at all cost!”

“Dr. Kihtir it is time to retire. You treated me like a bother in your life. While reading my chart you rolled your eyes and gave a little giggle followed by OMG. When l asked if there was something funny about my 8 back surgeries you said, come on, you didn't need all that medicine. Apparently you forgot l didn't write the prescriptions l was under a doctor's care. One day she asked me if l knew how bad l looked. The nurse who put me in a room asked me what l did to make her hate me. During a back injection she told me to turn my head the other way, l asked why since l am deaf in one ear. She said the conversation between her and the nurse was none of my business. The nurses were on strike and this one was asking about art fairs. I brought up one they didn't know about. That nurse saw me crying and mouthed, l'm so sorry. I can say l was actually afraid of her, of asking questions. I called on the day of my appointment and said l will not be in today and l'm not coming back to United Pain. No one contacted me to ask why.I should have reported her but the staff told me if l did she would have me dismissed. I would break out in hives waiting to see her. I'm sure she was thrilled when l left. I know l was.”

“Dr. Kihtir is one of the best doctors I've had. I went to a few other doctors for pain. Most treated me like a junkie searching for a fix instead of actually listening to me and understanding what I am going through. I started with Dr. Kihtir about 5 years ago. At first I was worried she would be like all the other doctors I previously saw and just tell me I'm too young to have chronic pain despite the 20+ surgeries I've had. Dr. Kihtir was different. She listened, then asked questions! She tried multiple treatments for my pain and truly seems to care. I hope she never quits practicing because she is truly the best doctor I've ever had, by a landslide!”

“Dr Kithir goes out of her way to help my pain condition. Yes, she's tough, but she's very good. I've never seen her mad, upset, storm out of the room, or lose her patience. If you show trust and honesty with her, she gives it back! I don't know where I'd be without her pain management knowledge. I don't think most people know how hard the State & Government come down on Pain Mgment Physicians.”
