“Dr. Florio is truly one of a kind. I can't leave Jackie out of this! She's the sweetest woman and shares compassion. She's also FAST to correct an issue. Fantastic and caring! I've been living with chronic pain for over 20 years, and if you're a pain patient, you know exactly how we're often treated by other doctors or in the ER ....like we're A PROBLEM instead of the PATIENT. Dr. Florio is different. He's passionate about helping people manage pain with compassion and respect. He offers injections but never pushes them. Same with bupe ....no pressure, just options. It was honestly by the grace of God that I found him. I even travel a good distance to see him because I trust him completely, and that's something I haven't been able to say about many doctors. After years of being dismissed and judged, finding someone who listens and cares feels like a miracle. Once, another practitioner (at a different practice) told me, "I wouldn't even prescribe you a Tylenol; you need off all these meds." For the record, I take six medications (AND never even asled for a prescription) only two are controlled. If that's not discrimination against chronic pain patients, I don't know what is. Dr. Florio restores my faith that there are doctors who understand pain and treat patients with dignity.”
