Patient Testimonials

I was so humiliated and disgusted. I could not get a word in. He kept talking about a MRI from 2021. When I got fresh brand new MRIs, CAT scan, x-rays. He asked me what do you want me to do? I said fix me. She says I need to go back to the Pain Doctor that's giving me pain pills. I said I don't want to be pain pills I want to be fixed. But the part of not letting me talk, and talking about old images and not wanting to help me . Made me feel like I was trash to him. But for a person like him, I would never want a person like him to perform surgery on me anyway. But if God can let him feel what I feel for one day he wouldn't make it. If I can rate him 10 zeros I would. He don't need to be in practice.

This doctor Khalil is rude and he sat there mocking me and more concerned about himself and not me as a patient. He lowered my doses and quantities on the first meeting. Just went back today April 16th accused me of diluting my on urine for testing and said that he will not longer see or write me a prescription. I was flabbergasted and insulted at the same time to accuse me of such a thing. As I was leaving he told a student that's why he doesn't like dealing with . Didn't stay to hear the rest of his conversation with the female student. He didn't care about the pain that I have been dealing with for the past 3 yrs due to an accident that I was in.Totally unprofessional and shouldn't be in any medical field at all

Terrible experience. Sat in waiting area longer than the actual time in exam room. I knew I was going to have a bad experience when the female medical assistant rolled her eyes as if I was not responding to her questions quickly enough. Before Dr Kahlil entered exam room I could hear him and a female discussing my reason for being there. He became obviously upset with me when I told him I was not interested in getting injections into my back nor physical therapy for my back. My PCP referred me to him to sign a pain management contract for a leg injury suffered from a fall and once I said I would have to discuss this change with my primary doctor, Dr Kahlil turned the computer off, ripped the exam cover (on which he had scribbled ) off the table told me have a good day and left. He is rude and talked to me in a manner which caused me to tell him I was not illiterate and I understand that I don't have to be pressured into anything. I left the same as I arrived, still in pain. This is my first and last visit to him and I will advise my family and friends to avoid him.

After four back surgeries and five years of pain management elsewhere, I was nervous after seeing some reviews of Dr Khalil. In reality, I found him to be an excellent communicator, compassionate, and someone I could trust. Perhaps some other patients didn't understand his humor or communication style. His medical analysis, opinion, and recommended course of action were all extremely well thought-out and well-presented.
