Patient Testimonials

Dr Kim is very abrupt in his manner but if you can handle that, he is fantastic. He won't lie to make you feel better, he won't beat around the bush. He is an excellent Dr and personally I would rather have honest than "nice." I am really happy to have found him when we moved to DE. EDIT: After a year of seeing Dr Kim I like him even more. As he relaxes with you as a patient his sense of humor starts to show and you can have very good conversations with him. Once again, I am very happy to have found him.

Dr Philip Kim has given me back my life. I couldn't do anything before I met Dr. Kim. Just sitting at a desk would cause me mind blowing pain. I was stuck in bed most of the time for well over 6-9months. Gradually I began to feel better and better. I am a functional and VERY happy person again. Having lost everything due to pain, no words can describe how grateful I am to have met Dr Kim. Go see him and let him help you. Live and enjoy your life again.

I was a LOYAL compliant patient..... for 15+ years. Went every month, and never missed a random drug screen. Then a couple months ago I had to have surgery. I discussed with Dr. Kim about him being ok with my surgeon giving me pain meds, and he said he was ok with that. But when it came time for my discharge, Dr. Kim did a 180, and refused to allow my surgeon to prescribe stronger pain meds (Dr. Kim said I shouldn't need them for longer than a week......from a TOTAL KNEE REPLACEMENT!). Dr. Kim then said I needed to get off of ALL narcotics (which I have been taking for 15+ years for chronic pain......and HE had prescribed for me), called me an addict, and refused to write ANY more prescriptions for me.......basically forcing me to go COLD TURKEY, and making me go through withdrawal! ANY doctor is better than Dr. Kim. He is uncaring, and incompetent, and should be sued for the emotional and physical pain he has put me through! Run in the opposite direction, and tell others to go to another doc!

I thought I was the only one who came out of his office in tears. His staff was apologizing for my bad visit.. he wasnt even the doctor i normally see, he looked at my folder and said to me i see you had surgery for the 4th time so since i had surgery what do i want he freak out because my other doctor perscribed me 5mg pain medicine and said we do not do this at my office. I was deliberately put down for taking the medication made me feel like i was the one who did something wrong and hollered at me, something i really am not used to especially when I was in alot of pain and i left crying. He did do 9 injections on me though before my surgery, my money was good enough then, hes a medicare scammer and will be reported. NOBODY should have to go through that kind of abuse from any DOCTOR, if wants to call himself one. Please find another doctor since apparently he dont need patients..
