Patient Testimonials

Dr. Grant has changed my life. I have RA since I am 4 years old. She is the first doctor to try different procedures . She does not treat you like a number and truly cares about you. I had a genicular nerve block done almost two years ago on my left leg performed by Dr. Grant and it's still working. Usually it's 6 months to a year and the pain returns. That just shows the accuracy that Dr. Grant has.

My first visit..... I walked in with #17 tablets of hydrocodone 10mg tablets. I cut the pills in half to last longer. I was not sure what to expect. I've been on pain medicine since 2011. With just going through breast cancer and chemo I had been on Morphine , Percocet, and now Hydrocodone. I easily got off the morphine and then the Percocet. My goal was to get off the hydrocodone. As I walked into the office I could hear music playing softly in the clean spacious waiting area. On the right there was a window to sign in. The front office staff were very friendly. I filled out all the paperwork work needed to become a new patient and dropped them off days prior to my visit. Including a copy of my ID and insurance. Now I just had to fill out one page related to current pain. The wait was short and I was called to the back. The nurse weighed me and took my vitals. She took down my goals, concerns and pain issues. It was not long and Dr Grant walked in. I was beyond impressed. The first thing we discussed was X-ray CT and other test to find the source of my pain. I had not had a full exam like that in years. I talked about my medicine. Cutting back to 1/2 tab of pain medicine at night was so low ( which is what I was taking ) she believed I could get off of them without withdrawals. Just take a 1/2 tablet as needed. My eyes lit up. After being attached to medicine for 14 years. I did not think it possible. I went home happy. My next visit.. We discussed results of all the tests I did. Getting old is not for the weak. Body changes happen with time. How we respond makes the difference. I wanted to increase my strength and my endurance after the chemo took that away. Dr Grant had me go to water therapy. I did fabulous with that. I'm now off hydrocodone and I have more strength and balance. Dr Grant and every one of her staff really cares about me. I feel it when they smile as I walk in. Their compassion and kindness go above and beyond any expectations I had. I reached many of my goals. I still have work to do on endurance but I am not giving up. Dr Grant showed interest in the needle work my roommate and I do. She is a doctor that cares about the whole patient ...not just the joint or back pain or prescribing medicine I do not need. She cared for me and I feel better. I know Dr Grant and her staff are in my corner. I celebrate life everyday. Call her now if you feel you need help with pain. Best always ......Willie

THIS DOCTOR DOESNT USE ALL THE AVAILABLE RESOURCES TO HELP HER PATIENTS. Terrible doctor, I was to see this doctor, but she didn't see me because I take pain meds. I had a operation on 12/15 and up to this past Christmas I spent 90% of my life in bed. Between my pain pump and oxycodone I was able to spend more time out of bed. She refused to order my pain meds, because she SO WORRIED ABOUT THE GOVERNMENT. SHE DOESN'T READ THE ARTICLES REGARDING HOW THE GOVERNMENT IS EASING UP. A ARTICLE WAS WRITTEN STATING "HOW IT COULD BE A LITTLE TO LATE". HOW SUICIDE IS THROUGH THE ROOF BECAUSE PATIENTS COULDN'T GET THEIR PRESCRIPTION MEDICATION. These doctors get notes before seeing patients, so why waste my time. I've notice most doctors in Myrtle Beach are afraid and there behind the times. To get the care needed, people need to travel 2 to 3 hours, it's ashame. I should of been smarter, she only had 3 reviews, that says a lot. Here is one more idea when it comes to picking a doctor. Stay away from doctors that went through schooling in South Carolina. Their ideas are 25 years behind, find a doctor that can meet your needs, if it's simple than no problem. I hard the hardest time finding a doctor that install, maintain a pain pump. Getting oxycodone here is near impossible, even if there is cause. I spent the last 8 years in bed, 90% of the time. I had doctor notes from the last 10 years, but that didn't matter. If your need of a good or maintain health care, don't move to Myrtle Beach area or South Carolina. These doctors are good for cuts and bruises. Take 2 aspirin and go to bed
