“I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Neil Thakkar and his team. From my very first visit, the office staff was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and efficient. Every appointment was right on time .. I never had to sit and wait, which is almost unheard of these days. Dr. Thakkar has truly exceptional bedside manner. He took the time to walk me through every option for my lower back pain, which comes from multiple bulging discs, and he made sure I fully understood each choice. What I appreciated most was that he never pushed one approach over another .. he simply educated me, supported my decisions, and made sure I felt comfortable and confident the entire way. My lumbar ablation with him was a total game changer, and I can honestly say I won't let anyone else touch my back. He's a fantastic doctor, and I'm incredibly grateful for the care I received. “If this wasn't health related I wouldn't post anonymous but again I don't want my entire medical history out. Dr. Neil Thakkar did his best to try and help but all I can say is he needs to learn more about endometriosis. To tell me when I should and shouldn't feel pain is not even appropriate. He stated the only time I should feel pain is during my period which is not the case. When I have marriage relations I end up in severe pain after. I ended up being done with the appointment I was officially done and truly frustrated for someone to tell me how I am supposed to feel is just not okay with me. I highly recommend he learns a lot more about this health condition to truly understand. It took me 10 years alone to get diagnosed and of course 7 Gynecologist because no one takes people with endometriosis seriously. I walked in here because my new insurance wouldn't accept the other facility I was at for my medication refills. I have been on tramadol for a long time now. I understand that there is a concern for long time use but I am well aware. Keep in mind I have clean record of all my drug test, I am a pharmacy tech. I was straight forward because I was at the point of having to get my script from Mexico because no one would believe me or help. I was considered drug seeking. There was no reason for me to be straight forward but I was in such immense pain that I ended up having to go to another country in order to get relief. I am 28 years old I do not want my body in menopause that alone is a can of worms. I'm young there's no way I want to feel 60. Again same thing trying to push injections when I had walked in. I'm not injecting anything into my body, especially hormones or anything else. I already had done a laparoscopy and the relief I had was for 5 months and I was back in the same boat again. I tried an IUD it caused massive hair loss. I did try many options and unfortunately they didn't work out for me.”
