“Dr. Ellis rates 5 stars. He's an excellent doctor. The corporation he is associated with, Physician Partners of America, is another story. All calls to the office are outsourced- and I mean out-of-country outsourced. NO ONE WILL EVER CALL YOU BACK OR PASS ON A MESSAGE TO YOUR DOCTOR. Many are very rude and even insulting. I've had appointments canceled with no notification, meaning I arrived only to learn my appointment had been canceled. I had to drive 90 minutes away from my usual location, toward an incoming hurricane, after a car accident, to see Dr. Ellis because Physician Partners of America had canceled my appointment. I was told I "must have canceled it and then forgotten"- gaslighting me after all that. I really like Dr. Ellis, but I consider leaving every time something like this happens with the office. I'm told the corporation is responsible for setting up such a poor and unprofessional business. I don't doubt it.”

“I love Dr. Ellis and all of the staff. The only thing I dislike is the waiting to see him. The doctor is so overbooked and it causes him to run behind. I have a pain pump and the new ARNP does not feel comfortable with making changes to the dose and doing the refills. Otherwise I would be okay with seeing them.”
