Patient Testimonials

If zero stars was an option that is what I would put. Dr. Kneeland hurt me very bad when he did spinal injections. I had an electric shock of pain all the way through my toes and I was in tears and all they said was I had a zinger. He didn't care that he hurt me.

Outstanding Doctor! He should have a 5 star rating in my opinion. I moved here in June and have been seeing Eric and he's great as well, however today I had an appointment with Dr. Kneeland. I've had chronic pain since I was 27 years old, I am now 51, as you can imagine I've seen my share of pain docs and surgeons. With today's opioid epidemic I certainly can understand the issues that surround that. I have heard it all from you're too young, which was my personal favorite to being labeled as ( you can fill in the blank) I was not taken seriously until the imaging results came in. I've been to every kind of PT, injections, tens units, massage, how to cope therapy (which do have some great tools to put in your tool bag) Etc... the most horrific pain in my life was when C5 kicked C6 and C7 on my spinal cord in which almost paralyzed me. I'm so grateful that I'm not paralyzed, post surgery, however it still didn't fix other problems. Long story short I've been through my share of pain specialists, and what I appreciated most today was not being labeled, Ned made me feel comfortable and important. I also really appreciate that he's trying to create a new plan of action to help me manage my pain effectively and carefully. I walked away feeling blessed to have found him, and am pleased he's my new pain doc. If you're struggling with pain and are searching for a doctor I wouldn't hesitate in making an appointment and see what he could possibly do for you. I don't write too many reviews but I felt compelled today to write more than just a few words, I know in doing my own searches I wish some would elaborate more. It's hard finding a good connection and someone who listens. Thank you Dr. Kneeland for the support and ease today, I also appreciate your bedside manner and helping me improve my pain as best as humanly possible. Feeling greatful, and hopeful.

I am a veteran age 65 with severe low back lumbar pain at L4 and L5 S1. The VA only allows two epidural spine shots a year, once every 6 months. There are 52 weeks in a year and for 46 weeks I am in pain. I have been in pain since 2009. Only these last few years has the VA allowed for these pain shots. It is no exaggeration when I say that my life experience is mostly experienced in pain. I walk like an old Korean rice farmer. I was stationed in South Korea I know how an old Papasan Korean rice farmer walks. Picture an elderly man with a walking cane bent forward taking one step at a time very slowly. That describes me. There are days when I truly and seriously am concerned that I am taking my last steps as the pain is that intense. I deeply dread these epidural spine shots. They hurt as they go deep into the spine and release the medication. On two different occasions in two different facilities and with two different doctors I had to scream for them to pause the injection as the pain was so intense. One doctor explained that the injection site was tricky and hard to get to. At the other facility the other doctor made four attempts each time very painful and I had to scream at him to stop and he refused to stop until he reached the injection site and then he mocked me and asked did I want him to stop now. My experience with Dr Kneeland, today, was wildly and dramatically different in that the process was completely painless. He counts down 1-2-3 and then injects lidocaine to numb the injection area before going deeper to the injection site. I felt a pinch of a needle but he does it so fast it hardly has time to register and the area is numbed and the larger needle is used and the only thing I felt was the pressure of the medication entering the injection area. I never felt any pain," my hand to God!" Sometimes at the end of the procedure I feel a quick sharp jolt of electricity down my right leg and this injection was no different it is sudden and there's no time to prepare for it but it was not painful at all. My hand to God, this was an amazing experience. I will not be anxious when I visit again in 6 months.

Kneeland did a phenomenal job on my nerve block and steroid injection. The whole thing took less then a few minutes. The nurses that prep you for the operation are soo kind and empathetic. I'm not sure who helped me but she was a sweetheart. Highly recommended them.
