“This doctor is biased against men. She refused me simple effective relief through nerve blocks for 12 years because I mistakenly trusted her. Subsequent pain clinic doctors upon hearing her treatment of me would shake their heads, gave me nerve blocks, and put me on the road to recovery. But if a patient is female Bratanow can even overprescribe. I saw this myself in the reception room. Secondly, she left me in an exam room for 90 minutes before coming in with another patient. She has a nice smile, but it is a put on. She screwed me out of 12 years of my life. BEWARE!”

“Always ran out of medication because no one ever was in the office to approve refills. Consistently ran 1-2 hrs late for appointments, often waiting there long enough to have to cancel and reschedule. During a scheduled procedure that was scheduled for my neck, she tried to inject my lower back. She didn't know what I was even there for. After telling a friend of this (she is an x-ray tech who has worked in the room with Dr. Bratanow), she informed me that when the doctor gives injections, she orders general anesthesia so that you don't know she is only injecting you just underneath the skin, not actually hitting where the affected nerves are so you need to have procedures/injections more often.”

“I cannot say enough good things about this doctor. She was assigned to me while I was in the hospital for my Crohn's disease. She had successfully been able to find some good alternatives to the traditional opioids that typically would cause constipation, which is not good for someone with stomach issues like me. She is very smart, and will be starting to work with her to manage my migraines, as well. The largest thing that was important was the time she spent with me, explaining each of the medicines, as well as her wonderful bedside manner. She really truly cared for me while there, and did what she could to manage my pain... which is wonderful to feel validated when you don't feel well at all. I would recommend her in a heartbeat!”
