“I called the office and explained my situation, and they got me in right away. But once I got there the dr said I'd wasted my time driving 45 minutes to see him and said he'd order an MRI. My conversation with him inspired no confidence; he kept saying he might be able to help me but probably not. So basically: $60 copay to drive 90 minutes while in pain and find out he couldn't do anything though he had my records from a nerve study and wouldn't be able to offer any treatment or help for at least a minth. I respect that he needs more info, but couldn't his staff have mentioned that or offered a telehealth appointment to save me the drive? When I asked about charging a copay when he didn't actually do anything, their response was, "Well, he gave you his time." Their total disrespect for my time couldn't have been more clear. Something is wrong when an office staff isn't trained to tell a patient what they need to do in advance so they can get effective treatment.”

“I see Dr Kourtu as insurance allows involving RFA for Chronic Pain of the lumbar. He is an experienced positive competent doctor with a good bed side manner. When in procedure, he explains what he is doing as he does it. No surprises. I appreciate his Holistic approach and non-opiates path with my care. Unfortunately for me his Camp Rd office did not work out. So I have chosen to travel to his other location for my continued care and pain relief. I would recommend Dr Kourtu for Chronic pain.”

“If I could give 0 stars I would. The guy just doesn't care about his patients. Like how are you called chautaqua pain medicine but tell your patient he's at the wrong practice for medicine for pain he's just as corrupt as a majority of the health industry. It's just disappointing and I would 100% would NOT recommend him to anyone. Keep looking for the right doctor and keep your heads up. Your health is more important than this guys paycheck.”

“Does not know the medical post-procedure following a blood patch with a CSF leak. A person MUST LAY FLAT FOR OVER AN HOUR Dr. Mohamed Kourtu. YOU SHOULD KNOW THAT. And when a patient tells you they feel a horrible pop during a blood patch- SOMETHING IS WRONG. You did absolutely nothing but cause more harm.”
