“This new doctor is totally unfair. He took me off my pain meds without any consideration for the fact that I would likely have withdrawals. The only thing he says jokingly "nobody never died from withdrawals ". I don't understand how Mercy keeps him on as a doctor. He is a quack. Don't go to this pain clinic run the other way.”

“I went to this doctor for my 1st visit he seemed Compassionat he gave me an injection for pain in my back. Next visit i was treated like a junkie by all who worked there. I will stay away from there. He told me my mri said there was a little arthritus. When i read it i had degrnerative disk disease. I know i have cervical spomdolosis. Yeah. Hes not for me!e”

“Wish I could give "Dr." Tamirisa 0 stars... Was referred to him due to a back injury at 36yo (5mm disc bulge, DDD, DJD). My initial visit for diagnosis after a MRI, he seemed alright, though not exactly friendly or compassionate. I figured maybe he was just having a rough day. My more recent visit, however, I realized that wasn't the case. He was very rude and condescending, cut me off mid-sentence several times, and kept commenting about my "extremely poor posture" (the inflammation in my back was making me unable to stand fully upright, which is why I was there to begin with), as if implying that it was somehow to blame for my injury. Then, he went on a nearly 10 minute tirade about smoking/smokers (I'm an on/off smoker, to which he seemed personally offended by). After all that, he flat out refused to even look at my most recent MRI for comparison (from a year after the first one), saying that whatever the BWC doctor noted was "probably accurate" (it wasn't). Throughout everything, over nearly 3 years now, I've never asked for, or implied wanting, any narcotic prescription. I actually specifically told him and my other doctor on my first visits that I do NOT want to take any kind of habit-forming or state-altering drugs. (I work in/on/around equipment weighing up to 60,000 pounds, and other people, 12 hours a day). I went to him for help, not drugs, but he still very much treated me like I was just there looking to 'score'. Seeing the other reviews here now, I know I'm not alone in that sentiment. I would suggest doing whatever you can to avoid this "doctor".”

“Dr.K. Tamarisa is a cold hearted man who should NOT be practicing pain management!!! I was on Morphine and Percocet. He cut me off cold turkey because I tried medical marijuana 2 days before my appointment. It showed up on their computer. I didn't know that would happen. I asked if i could have help weaning off. They said no and didn't care!! No compassion!! I was a faithful patient!! I called him 3 times to say I was dieing and they didn't care enough to call me back. Oh to be fair, my pharmacy called me to say they called in medicine for my stomach. DO NOT GO TO THIS DOCTOR!!! He is heartless!! He doesn't know what he's doing!! He is old and needs to retire NOW!!!!”
