“I have to say that I really did think Dr. Kahn did a good job at the time of my appointment and visit., However, he gave me a written prescription for physical therapy, which my insurance won't take. It needs to be put in electronically or by fax to the Physical therapy facility. I've been with this insurance company for over 30+ years doing it this way. After contacting the office at least five times over a five week period about getting that request in so that I could start physical therapy, it still wasn't done. I ended up having to go to my primary care physician so that they could put the request in. That same day I called and canceled my appointment for follow up with Dr. Kahn and told them that they didn't need to bother anymore. I had taken care of it with my primary care doctor. They then finally put in the paperwork and I got a call the day after my primary care physician got their request in. My primary care physician put in the request two hours after my visit with him, Physical therapy was giving me a call to schedule my appointment. Not sure why it takes five weeks to get a physical therapy request Put in at Dr. Khans office, but it is unacceptable, obviously!”
