“Dr. Schultz is the best. I've been to several pain management offices over the years for my back and they have tried the same injections that Dr. Schultz does and they can never get my pain under control. Dr. Schultz has been able to get my pain under control when no one else has been able to. He's not talkative, but he's straight to the point and doesn't sugar coat things. I was a little disappointed in the fact that my definition of sedation and his is vastly different though. His sedation just relaxes you, but doesn't make you sleep through the procedure. That's ok for the injections, but the radio frequency ablation hurts and takes longer to do and it would be nice to be put out for that one. Other than that, no complaints whatsoever. Appointments are quick and easy to get with no time spent wasting sitting waiting on the doctor. I definitely recommend his office.”

“0000 STARS! Awful man. Rude and just mean. Sent here by primary for multiple herniated disks. Didnt go over MRI, and stated there were ONLY 3 routes of treatment. Injections, Physical Therapy and Surgery. I told him I already had surgery on several disks in my neck, would like to avoid that, I couldnt leave work 3 times a week to go to physical therapy so I would give injections a try. I asked for sedation as I was in extreme pain, he said he only does sedation 1x a month so I would have to wait over a month until the next time he would be doing those. I asked for something to help the pain while I waited for injections and he said I could have Neurotin. ??? this is for seizures and for mild pain from neurological disorders. I dont have a neurological disorder... was told he WOULD NOT PRESCRIBE ME NARCOTICS. fast forward to the injection day. Whatever sedation he had them give did not put you out or block the pain. I felt every last second of the shot, it was awful. I didnt go back for 5 months. Just went yesterday. I left crying and humiliated. Again same spew about the treatment and again over a month before he would be doing his sedation date. Again didnt offer anything to help with the pain until the injection, so I asked and WOW!!!! I was yelled at and made to feel like a drug seeker. I told him the Nuerotin was not for pain and he said 'thats exactly what its for" um, still no, its not. I tried to get him to look at my almost 15 years of records with genesys and see that I do not go around trying to get pain meds and to please look at my record. He refused. I asked him if I have 3 herniations and 3 fused disks already, then who did qualify for pain meds. Then the pompus jerk actually said "you do NOT have herniated disks, you have bulging disks!!!" I told him the MRI report CLEARLY stated I had HERNIATIONS at T12/L1, L3/4 and S1, along with a CYST on my spine around the L2 area. He just kept yelling at me, loud enough for every other patient back in the rooms to hear, including opening the door and walking out while continuing to yell that he was NOT going to give me NARCOTICS and I did not have herniated disks. What a PRIVACY violation! So I left and signed a release to get my records. The man is a horrible pain mgt doctor! Only wants to rip your insurance off with injections and fake sedation,”
