“He went by another doctors diagnosis with no tests. When it didn't add up, he refused to order an MRI and he treated me like a criminal. He told me constantly the pain was all in head, and all I needed was a psychiatrist. I had no where to go so I put up with him. Finally with pain unbearable there was a big blow out. When the MRI came back he said "You need surgery asap for the disc pressing on your spinal cord! " Years of abuse from him and no apology. After that he didn't need a nurse in the room with me! “Rather than do tests to see what was causing my pain, Dr. Paggioli gave me an epidural shot that did not work and which resulted in pain at the injection site that continued until I ended up in Urgent Care two weeks later because I could not walk. He refused to speak to me about this. Dr. Foster from the Windham Hospital Pain Management Department later discovered that the pain I saw Dr. Paggioli for was the result of an unfused vertebra in my spine. I still have pain at the epidural injection site, am seeing a neurologist for it, and will be undergoing physical therapy to repair the damage there. I am glad others find this doctor helpful; he did not help me.”
