Patient Testimonials

Dr Friedman did a wonderful job with my care left his office after 12 years due to his staff. Their billing system deleted my payment information and I was not informed so I did not bring any form of payment with me. They would not send my prescriptions to pharmacy until I paid my copay. I have never not paid my bill over the numerous years I was a patient. I was upset that the continuity of care was not maintained

I had a poor experience. The Dr himself is great. The office staff not so much. I had a call early in the day saying they had to reschedule, they did and then later that day they called again and had to reschedule again. This was upsetting for me because waiting a month to see a doctor just to find out a few days before that I wouldn't be seen on said date which is upsetting. I tried voicing my concern and they wouldn't even hear me out, making an appointment is not easy especially when you're having to navigate around a schedule work etc. Not once did I say anything mean or derogatory yet they spoke over me not even allowing me to just simply voice my frustration. Eventually they hung up on me and because their office was now closed, I couldn't even attempt to reschedule. If this is how an office is going to treat patients that are coming for literal "pain management" then it's probably not going to be the best experience. My emotions can run a little high because of the pain that I am in (if I get upset there's no reason to take it personal) just try and have a little empathy because it goes a long way then today I just got a call from the office manager and they treated me very similar to how I was treated the last time, which now I understand why the office staff treated me how they did experience in dealing with them was horrendous. Again the doctor himself is great but office staff is why I'd recommend not to go here.

Dr. Friedman was the worst pain doctor i have ever dealt with. After waiting for months 2 see him an going an having painful test done on my legs because i was going 2 see him he canceled my appointment 3 days before i was due to be in his office. I was given no reason an when i got angry an told him you truly don't care if someone is in so much pain they are ready to die (because that is how much pain i was in an told them that when i made the appointment that i waited 3 months for before he canceled it with no reason) witch i truly felt at the time....so what did he do? he sent 2 police officers to my apartment ....I am in a wheel chair an have been for 6 going on 7 years but still he put me through what no one should ever have 2 go through. All i wanted was help an he gave me hell...stay away from this doctor in my opinion.

I visited Dr. Friedman once and he suggested a treatment for my next visit. On my next visit, about 2 weeks later, I was having a bad pain/migraine/sleepy day. My husband always goes with me to my appointments. I was confused and asked questions. He was going to start the dry needling when he asked me to stand and turn my head in both directions. He then said I was too wobbly and that he would not be able to help me. My husband asked if we should reschedule and he just said, "no". I was then dismissed. Now, THAT's NOT the way to treat a person in pain!!! Either you do things his way or you are dumped.
