What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Referred to Dr. Jason Peter from another doctor. His staff at Pain Clinic of Michigan in Troy are very pleasant. I have only good things to say. The front desk is helpful and it is best to complete all paperwork on line, so you don't have to worry about anything else when you arrive. Dr. Peter started my evaluation on my neck by reviewing my X-rays and MRI on my first visit. Then he explained what was going on with my neck and discussed what options I have. I decided to get the 2 blocks and an ablation on the neck. Had both blocks and ablation completed at the Oakland Surgi-Center. Neck is definitely better than it was before I had these procedures completed. All of my experiences to date have been outstanding. Dr. Jason Peter and his PA-C Ben Carolan. and the entire staff have been pleasant to work with in Troy. I would definitely recommend Dr. Jason Peter and the Oakland Surgi-Center staff.”

“Please believe these reviews and run while you still can. I had been seeing him for sometime. Dr. Peters pulled my RX history and commenced to question me about why doctors had me on certain medications. My medicines had been like this for a long time. Instead of contacting those doctors and getting clarification He chose to cold turkey stop my visits and stop writing my script for pain meds and told me to go someplace else. This is something that is life threatening. A pain mgmt patient is NOT advised to cold turkey a pain med yet tapper it off. It took me weeks to get into a new doctors visit to continue my care which could have caused me major complications beyond the withdrawals that it sent me into. Thankfully I called my primary care and they wrote my script to hold me over until til I could get in with a new doctor and stop the withdrawals. You can kill a person my discontinuing their medication like that. And it goes against the rules of any pain mgmt office which makes you sign a contract. Which in that contract it states that should a problem arise a script will be written until you can get into see someone else because stopping cold turkey is dangerous. He went against all of that and didn't care and decided to argue with me tooth and nail..........even using profanity! At that point I left to keep myself from doing something that would not have turned out nice! I now see a wonderful pain mgmt doctor who is very caring and handles things properly and professionally. And all of my circumstances are the same! You appreciate a good doctor coming from a bad one!”

“Dr peters hubris is only surpassed by his ignorance of chronic pain patients. He called me a liar when 11 different pharmacies informed me that the er meds prescribed were unavailable for months, go if you want to but be prepared to be talked down to”

“I have been seeing Dr Peters for several years . My mom actually was seeing him before me , he took EXCELLENT care of my mom was not only a very good Dr. but cared about her well being . I switched from the Dr who I was seeing ( he was a pill pusher and wanted me to take very strong narcotics!!!). When I seen how WONDERFUL Dr. Peter's was with my mom i decided to switch to him. Again I've been seeing him for many years .He has performed many procedures on me when only needed . I Love him ! I highly recommend him . The office is clean and the staff is awesome! 5 stars plus !”
