“This female doctor saved me. I had been prescribed medication for pain for a bulging disc. This has been a few years back, but she was absolutely amazing. Total transparency, I had never needed pain medication before I had problems with my back. I was in my mid forties. I was running a business at the time, and had no time to take off for surgery. Until I had to! The Doctor, she told me, " one day you're going to be down at the beach or out in the yard and that disc is going to rupture!" And she wasn't wrong. I was on a boat over in Atlanta on Lake Lanier. We hit wake and I went up and bounced down. On the way home from my legs went numb and were aching all the way to my feet. I had surgery the following Friday spinal fusion. These people were amazing. They took care of me made sure I had medication for maintenance and breakthrough pain for three months. That is the amount of time it took to re-habilitate after having an XLIF procedure. My surgeon was in touch with them and they adjusted my medication as needed. I just wanted to take a moment to say in all fairness, you do your part, and they do theirs. You have to be honest and you have to take your medication as prescribed. I will say this, when I was in more pain than I realized, they adjusted, as I stated above. And when I got better, I came off that medicine. But while I was there, they treated me with respect and dignity, and I never had one problem with anyone working there. This doctor and her staff helped me an and did an amazing job. That was in 2018. I'm not sure how things work now since the law has changed so much. But having not taken a pain pill since 2018, I can say while I was there, they made my life so much better. People and chronic pain deserve their pain medication when they are hurting. Not everyone is looking for a daily high. But sadly, I hear these days US-wide, the good must suffer with the bad. And that the DEA have changed the laws and not in favor of chronic pain patients. Despite it all, These people were an absolute saving grace for me. Thank you.”
