Patient Testimonials

I agree he's horrible! He accused my wife of giving me her controlled meds so I could sell them?! Where does he come up with this nonsense? When I insisted on speaking to him about why he would even have this distorted view, he had some mysterious very large man in the office that my wife had never seen there before. Was he afraid I was going to harm him? What kind of people is he used to dealing with? Needless to say, my wife went to a real pain management doctor and has received PROFESSIONAL care ever since. Thankfully, she has been able to continue to function throughout her spinal fusions that he never noticed were needed. She has an auto-immune disorder that is destroying her spine, kidneys and now heart, from the inside out. I wouldn't have this guy treat her with anything. I may lose her soon, but at least I know she will be taken care of by doctors who actually care and know the proper amount of pain management needed for someone who is clearly in pain.

I'm wish I could leave this piece of work ZERO stars. I called the emergency number for my mother as I am her car taker. She has stage four renal cell carcinoma and is on a boatload of different pain medications. She is currently out of two of them. I explained to Mr. Halpert that she needed these medications because she is out and that I was not sure what to do. (Trying to get her an appointment to see him sooner) my mother got discharged from hospice two weeks ago and has been on these pain medications for 4 years. She is dieing of cancer and he was the biggest jerk on the phone. Insinuating that I wanted him to send pain medication to the pharmacist without seeing her. Like really? She is very sick and he acted like she didn't matter. This DR is horrible

BEWARE!! I received notice from a collection agency that I owe $80 from one visit in July! I never received any statement from the office and when I called the receptionist told me (before hanging up on me) that I was charged a second "visit" for making a phone call to the office to request a prescription change. I was NEVER told that making a call would result in a virtual office fee. The receptionist is the most unprofessional medical assistant I've ever dealt with. Run away from this place.

Very professional doctor. Amazing & friendly staff. Treat them well and they will do the same to you, just like any person. Be honest and on time. This is a Very professional legitimate doctor, unlike sketchy places I've been in the past. Dr halpert and his staff care about their patients. They are on top of and Help with insurance stuff. They call back when they say they will. I Love it here. I'm very fortunate. I Couldn't rate any higher. Any negative reviews you see couldn't be farther from the truth in my experience. Actually this is the first time I've seen negative reviews and felt the need to comment about them. Unfortunately I bet the negative reviews come from disgruntled patients they had to release for not following their code or people blaming drug prices on dr halpert and his staff when it's really the health insurance companies.. who knows. They did not ask me to review their office, I enjoy reviewing places. If all of his patients left reviews they would be at a 4.9. The most recent reviews are the ones you should pay attention to. Have a blessed day! Love you Dr halpert and staff if only everyone in the world would treat people as you do.
