“I saw Dr.Janssen in Aug of 2023, for pain in my upper right neck and pain in my right arm, I had a positive Hoffmans reflex which led to a MRI, on that MRI was stated some mild C5 C6 degenerative changes, he did 3 trigger point injections, i didn't get much relief, so we went over some options 1) do a nerve study but he didn't think I had nerve damage, 2) burn my nerves, 3) epidural, but then he said why don't you just go get better migraine medication. Well non the less that really torked me off, I told him I was prescribed migraine meds the same day I was referred to him, And I told him the migraines are from the tension in my neck, well i slammed the door and left, i ended up doing chiropractor and deep tissue massage for almost 2 years, over 50 adjustments and massages, then that pain came back with a vengeance in July of 2025, I got another MRI, I had a herniated C6 C7, almost 2 years to the date my cervical disc replacement was Oct 27, 2025 and my last visit with Dr Janssen was Oct 30, 2023! So my Dr thinks my disc was trying to herniate in 2023 but obviously new migraine medicine wouldn't of fixed my problems either, and what's interesting, the disc is off my nerve and no more migraines!”
