“Doctor D is the best doctors you will ever find. He is caring, compassionate and responsible. He works hard for his patients and he listens to them. I have been a patient of his for almost 7 years since we got stationed to San Angelo. He deals with some of the hardest cases of incurable diseases and intractable pain. He always ensured his patients were adhering to the agreement and also ensured every patient was regularly drug tested to ensure proper use of their medications as prescribed and to also ensure that his patients were not using other substances that they were not prescribed or is illicit. What is being done to him is a witch hunt and so very dangerous to us patients. I have witnessed patients be removed from care due to breaking the agreement or failing the drug test. I have witnessed patients known for seeking and having no medical need for narcotic pain medication be refused. I have heard people complain about his refusal to give them narcotics. I also know that he strictly adhered to the laws even when they abruptly changed and never would he even allow people to pick up prescriptions without being seen and he also would never replace any medication people claimed were lost or stolen. I also know he never kept any sort of medication in his office and made sure all prescriptions were written properly. As for his record keeping. I witnessed him after every single office visit not only did he write records but he also audio transcribed them (I saw this each time I went to into an exam room, sometimes heard it while in the exam room and observed it after I was finished and left the exam room). I have seen a lot of doctors in many states due to our being active duty military... I have seen some pretty bad doctors and I have seen a few really good doctors. Dr. D is among the best doctors who does his job to help people and their quality of life is so very important to him. I will do anything to help fight for him because he always fought for me. So, this is my review of him as his patient from 2012 until now. I am sure I could say a lot more, but this is long enough as is.”
