Dr. Bijan N. Niaki, MD - Pain Management in Taunton, Massachusetts

“BROKE BACK IN 2021 SAW A NUEROSURGEON FROM BRIGHAM AND WOMEN'S HOSPITAL HE SAID I AM A RARE 10% OF PERSONS THAT VERTEOPLASTIES AND KYPHOPLASTIES HEALED INCORRECTLY. NO SURGICAL PROCEDURE OPTIONS WHATSOEVER. I WAS GIVEN A REFERRAL FROM MY PCP TO DR NIAKI. ONLY TO HAVE HIS SECRETARY CALL AND TELL ME THAT DR NIAKI REFUSED TO ACCEPT ME AS A PATIENT !!! I KNOW THE REASON DEFINITELY. I HAVE BEEN BLK BALLED IN MASSACHUSETTS BY MY PRIOR PCP FOR 26 YEARS. AS I REPORTED HIM TO THE BOARD OF PHYSICIANS AS HE HAD ME OVER 400 MGS OF OXYCONTIN A DAY SINCE 2008 HE DISCHARGED ME AS HIS PATIENT AND TOOK ME OFF IN A MATTER OF ONLY 2 WEEKS TIME. I HAD PROOF HE CHANGED MY PORTAL AND PROOF HE WAS GOING TO WEAN ME.OFF BY 10% OF THE DAILY DOSAGE GOR 1-2 MONTHS AND IN 13 YEARS ONLY EVER DID 3 URINE TESTS WHICH IS ILLEGAL. AND I HAD A PCA.WITH ME EVERY TIME I WOULD GO AND I WOULD ASK DON'T YOU WANT A URINE FOR A DRUG TEST. HE SAID I TRUST YOU ITS THE SHADY WELFARE ONES I TEST. WELL ALL DR'S IN MASSACHUSETTS STICK TOGETHER LIKE GLUE SO I HAD TO GO OUT OF STATE TO EVEN GET A NEW PCP NEVERMIND A PAIN DR OR PAIN CLINIC. DR NIAKI IN MY OPINION IS A SELF ABSORBED MAN THAT ONLY BELIEVES OTHER DRS LIES . HE ABSOLUTELY IN MY EXPERIENCE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANYONE'S PAIN. IF HE DID THEN HE WOULD HAVE AT LEAST EVALUATED ME FOR HIMSELF. NOT ON OTHERS HERE SAY AND LIES”

Although he is pain management specialist he is tops in his field. He is not affiliated with Morton Hospital. That alone is a bonus. His Medical Receptionist Courtney is a sweetheart.”

I feel for the other person who said they had problems with the office staff as I also have had problems with them. They rarely answer the phone or return calls, but Dr Niaki is too nice to let them go.”

“I'd give this office 5 stars if it wasn't for the bad attitude and lack of follow through of the receptionist i believe is named Vanessa. Absolutely horrible. You sit waiting to check in while she plays on her phone talking about remodeling her bathroom. If you address her bad attitude she threatens you with discharge. Today i went to pick up script for relative and called at 3:54 stuck up the street in traffic and nobody answered. I arrived at 3:59 to find the door locked. At 4:01 i was greeted by her ignorance. Then was threatened discharge and had the door slammed in my face. Same person had me on hold 10 min only for me to hang up and have the other receptionist pick up and answer question in less than 30 seconds. The doctor himself has given nothing less than exceptional care to both my relatives. Him and the other receptionist, Ann i believe, are amazing! We need more people like them and not like the other one. She's enough to cause a great doc to lose clients.”
