Patient Testimonials

Dr Wallace is the best. I was dreading leaving my old pain mgmt dr due to a change in my insurance, but I am so pleased with his care. His bedside manner is unmatched. Had a rocky start with the office staff due to some things being missed/delayed, but they've hired new people now, and when all is said and done, I got the pain relief I needed.

If I could give 0 stars I would. My husband had an autoimmune and after over a year of this doctor and that doctor and waiting waiting and having the pain worsening we were recommended this place. After the first visit we were so excited to get some answers. We tried to wait a few months for the next appointment but his pain was out of control. Long story short Dr. Wallace talked of all the things that could help him and didn't explain what was happening today then a nurse comes in talking about a contract that he needs to sign where he can't take any other needs including marijuana. My hubby got upset at first because that's the only thing that was giving him any relief so they sent in another nurse. He talked to her, he calmed down, he signed the contract and was to take a UA. He couldn't urinate because that's part of the pain and autoimmune and they said you can do it next time but they would send a script and referral for an MRI. They would then not return calls, there was no prescription sent but finally the order for MRI came thru. Months after that we called to get a followup and they said the doc will call you when he's reviewed everything and is ready. Still nothing. Come to find out they decided not to help my husband at all but instead referred him out without a word of this to us. This is horrible practice and if they can't tolerate upset people in pain why are they there? How can a professional "people helper" not have the decency to tell people they aren't going to treat them? #worstplaceever

Dr Wallace is my mother-in-law's pain doctor. She called on a Friday to see if she could have her pain medicine called into the pharmacy. They advised her that this was against the regulations. She had an appointment for Monday I took her to that appointment. When she said something about not having her medication through the weekend they again told her that it was against their policy. But then the nurse look through her file and said actually they were supposed to call in a 30-day the week prior. So the whole thing was their mistake. When we got to the pharmacy the prescription still wasn't ready and after lunch it still wasn't ready. After trying to get ahold of them for quite a while finally they answered and they said that they would have it in by the end of the day. They said they would make sure this was the first one that they called in. 7:00 p.m. that night when the pharmacy closed they still didn't have her medicine in. I honestly didn't seem to care very much!!!

I had been seeing Dr. Wallace for over a year when he was at Pain Management of Tulsa and, I'll be honest, he seems like one of the nicest, most caring doctors you'll meet (besides Dr. White). But the truth is that he turned his back on a whole lot of patients who were kicked out of Pain Management of Tulsa's practice because Dr. Wallace and Torgerson left 1 day after the new opiate prescription law passed. My assumption is that they did this knowing that now, every person requiring pain medication for longer than 3 weeks is being forced by the DEA and a bunch of non-doctor politicians to go into pain management clinics. This tells me that Dr. Wallace may seem as though he cares, doesn't. He saw a very lucrative opportunity and without a thought to those who might suffer as a result, he took his bundle of cash and left. I don't fault Wallace for wanting to become super-wealthy; I fault Wallace for leaving his patients without an option and in pain. Their pain, his gain. And from other reviews I've read about Wallace, it turns out he may be a shot-jock who wants to charge your insurance as much as possible for a 5-minute shot that does nothing but exacerbate your back problems and suppress your immune system unnecessarily - all for the sake of money. Visitor beware.
