“After nearly 3 agonizing years of being with Dr. Patels practice, I moved my mom out of their care to Dr. McPeek with Clearway pain in Elkton and they fixed her issue in under 2 months time with adequate pain relief, while they worked up her plan. My mom, a stroke patient with speech impact was treated like her pain wasn't pain by Dr. Patel and Dr. Molly. To say I'm disappointed by Dr. Patels practice is an understatement. There was never any plan to fix her issue, they gave her a shot here and there of various things, never revisited MRI, just never seemed to care enough to get to the bottom of the pain issue. My mom was nearly bedridden by the time we pulled her from their care. It was BAD. She is down to 1 pain pill per day given her incision pain, and all pain in her back/leg relieved by a simple outpatient surgery called the minuteman procedure. From the bottom of my heart, please just do better - most patients don't want to be on opioids, they just want quality of life. Listen to your patients, have patience with those with language barriers, and do the right thing.”
