“Be careful, his staff will put you in very bad positions and not let you have any communication with Dr. Bennett himself. He has had insurance issues with cigna that were brought to my attention when I called the insurance company. Nothing was said to me by anyone at Colorado pain and spine. They canceled my appointment without telling me, telling me I can pay cash to get my meds. My appt is TODAY!! THEY'VE ALSO BEEN OVER CHARGING FOR MY COPAY SINCE 2020, $10 EXTRA PER MONTH... “Since 2003 I've been in and out of doctors and hospitals, always labeled "an interesting and complex case." From the beginning dr. Bennett was ahead of the rest of the medical community in his research, technique, and knowledge. I have been with him since 2004 and he is the best pain mgmt doctor I've ever seen (and I've seen a lot). He truly cares how you're feeling as a patient, doesn't make you feel judged that you need pain meds, is focused on what will make you feel the best and truly listens to your concerns, he is constantly on the forefront of new techniques and new options (ie stem cells) he knows the chemistry behind the medications he provides - how they interact, the best way to take them, which meds are better because they are more pure and better for the body; his office staff works so hard to keep the office running smoothly and in case of emergency will do everything in their power to get you in (i.e. I needed an emergency procedure scheduled and his office got me in the morning before he left for vacation, he came in extra early because it was the only way to fit me in the schedule). Although he no longer takes my insurance, his office does their best to keep appointment costs and procedural costs low, fighting for coverage when possible. I will not go to a different pain mgmt doctor because of the terrible experiences I've had with many many doctors - not believing my pain, throwing cheap meds at me that I know don't work, not upping my doses when they need to be, etc.). I trust dr. Bennett and his office with my life and would fly in from out of state if I had to in order to continue seeing him.”
