What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I came to Dr. Aminian due to a cervical injury that was causing vertigo and vomiting from the pain. She and her staff have been very kind and professional each time I have been there. She performed a Nerve Ablation on my neck and the difference in the pain was incredible! First time in years I had relief. I told her I don't like taking any prescription pain meds and unlike others she didn't try to push them on me. The procedure I had done in the cervical area done can be very dangerous and I have absolute trust in her. Eric C.”

“Seeing the comments I thought I was the only one. I Saw this Doctor 7 years ago I am a Minority Race. On the first visit this doctor said she does not give meds well she said that on the second visit as well but prescribed me Tramadol. She had no problem giving me injections when it came to it but I asked if she could change my meds to something different she asked "what works". I asked what she recommended she said "she's not going change my medicine for me to take what she gives me". I told her the medicine makes my stomach hurts. The doctor than unprofessionally throws my chart to the floor and storms out of the door. If you are Minority find another doctor. She should not be a doctor.”

“Dr Aminian and staff are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable. I was greeted by the front desk and waited a few mins then checked me in. Nurse Victoria is awesome. Took the time to know all the details and set expectations. Dr Aminian then came in to see me and explained everything in detail. Wasnt being rushed or anything. Very friendly too. Finally Nurse Brenda checked us out and gave final details for scheduling my Sacroiliac joint injection on Wed Jan 11th. Will update the review once shot and follow up is done! Looking fwd to it! Update 4/18/2023 Dr Aminian and staff are great every step of the way!”

“My mother has been seen by Dr. Aminian for a number of years for managing her pain from disability and neuropathy. Over the last year, after a number of significant life changes, mom is now in a retirement community where she no longer has to exert herself more strenuously, and is able to "take it easy" for a majority of her days. As a result, she hasn't needed to take as much of her pain medication aside from a low daily dose for maintenance to take the edge off her pain so she can sleep at night. Dr. Aminian wrote her prescription for 1-2x 1/2 pills AS NEEDED, then when she has only been generally taking a half pill per day, her three month script is able to last her nearly 6 months. At her last appointment, mom told them she was taking it daily, but then she was accused of lying about what she was doing with the medication because she didn't pick up a script in March when she wrote it... because she wasn't out yet and didn't need it. So instead of adjusting how much was being prescribed, listening to us about the change in her lifestyle, she just referred to mom as a "safety concern" in an overly accusatory tone and flat out refused to do anything further for her; told us we would need to pursue care elsewhere if we wanted her to continue on her maintenance level of the medication that she has been on for over 20 years. But let's not address the issue that you're the one who is actually -= OVER PRESCRIBING THE OPIOIDS =- but you want to get upset that you wrote the prescription and we didn't pick it up, because mom still has enough to maintain and it wasn't yet needed. Isn't the goal to have LESS of the opioids being out there? In fact, if we picked up 4x "3 month scripts" over a year of 90 pills, for 1-2x 1/2 pills as needed, this script would last between 3 and 6 months. If she only took a 1/2 pill for 6 months, we'd now have 180 pills, enough for her to maintain for an entire year... during which we would accumulate another unnecessary 360 pills. Dr. Aminian didn't care to listen, showed zero concern for explanation of the change in lifestyle, displayed zero empathy for a person who has lived over a third of her life with chronic pain. All she appeared to be concerned about was how us not filling a unnecessary prescription made her (presumably) look like she was writing unnecessary pain medications. What's worse is the mental anguish she placed on our mother by making her feel like she did something wrong for trying to be responsible for how she took and maintained her pain medications. Forget 1 star, 0 stars. If you're looking for assistance with pain management, I would advise you to steer very clear of Dr. Aminian whose practice with her patients is a very real safety concern.”
