What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“One of if not the WORST doctor to go see. Dubose does NOT care or concern himself about his patients. Office staff are unprofessional as well. Dubose, with a ream full of my VA medical records documenting all my injuries, told me he would NOT prescribe ANYTHING to help me. Other patients have said he will just reduce their meds without warning or concern. He is in the business to make money, not help people and that reflects in his attitude towards his patients.”

“First off my wife loved Dr. DuBose and he was her favorite Dr. She had been under pain mgmt. for 5+ years in Ft Worth. Another Dr. recommended him and he was 25 miles closer for us. For 2 or more years it was great. No problems until one day at her monthly appt. He told her she failed her last drug test. We were floored. We never even gave drug test second thoughts because she was a stickler for following the rules. In 7+ years never a blip on her record. She is an RN and did everything right to make sure she never had a problem. She was prescribed and took morphine but the test supposedly said she had taken Tramadol recently and he said he was dismissing her. Tramadol would be like taking aspirin compared to the morphine , so it made no sense at all why she would take it. We racked our brains trying to think of where it could have been introduced to her. She takes many other meds and we googled what would give a false positive for Tramadol. Her anti depressant medicine was the first thing that popped up. We informed Dr. DuBose and he asked the lab , they said it wouldn't cause it. My wife had Dr D look it up , sure enough he pulled the same info up. Even after he saw the lab had seemingly lied to him he still didn't listen. She offered to take any test he wanted to give but he didn't offer. You wouldn't offer to take a test , if you knew you had taken something you shouldn't have either. We wanted to know and have peace of mind if she had inadvertently taken some somehow , so I ordered a 13 panel hair sample test that test a minimum of three months previous drug use. We completed the test and sent it in. When we got the results , NEGATIVE for Tramadol use. At least we knew for sure it wasn't a mistake on her part Like I said , we like Dr.Dubose and his office very much. I don't know how it happened , maybe a bad test or bad chain of command getting it from the bathroom to the lab , but it happened. My wife was SO embarrassed , humiliated , and devastated knowing she had done everything to the letter right for 7+ years and then felt like she was getting the bums rush for something she didn't do. It makes it harder finding a new Dr. too when you have this on your record. It still bothers and humiliates her months later. We harbor no ill feelings for him or his office. I don't know what caused the false test but I feel like it could have been handled differently. Do you know how hard it is to prove you didn't do something ........ that you didn't do ??”

“Dr DuBose was wonderful. I was worried about pain management as just pain drugs. Dr DuBose had a great plan with out drug. I'm 62 and a retired firefighter. I'm experiencing pain in my neck. He had solution. I go to Israel often to teach young firefighters and it requires me to be in top shape to go in to fires with these young hero's.”
