What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I initially started at this practice with a doctor I really liked, but after they left, I was reassigned to Dana Simpson. From the very first appointment with her, I felt judged and uncomfortable. Instead of offering support or compassion, her demeanor made me feel ashamed for even seeking care. Living with excruciating pain is hard enough without being made to feel like there's something wrong with me for needing help. Her bedside manner is poor, and she comes across as though she's judging every patient who walks through the door. It's clear she lacks the empathy and understanding that patients deserve. While she is a nurse practitioner, she receives the same fees as a doctor, yet she doesn't come close to delivering the same level of care. I dreaded every visit with her and ultimately decided it would be less stressful to switch to a different practice altogether. If you are assigned to Dana Simpson, I strongly recommend looking for another provider who will treat you with the respect and compassion you deserve. This was one of the most disheartening healthcare experiences I've ever had.”

“They absolutely suck if you are under 45 do not go there!!!! I needed pain medication and procedures. done I held out as long as I could. I kept saying we're working on it for the procedure. After 6 months I gave up and found another place. Other place did the procedure in less than a month. Without that procedure I was excruciating pain, and the pain pills they were giving me, did not cut it one bit. A pleaded in begged for the 6 months I was there if they weren't going to give me the procedure please up the pain meditation. And they said nope cuz I'm under 45. And the only reason I'm giving them a 1 rating it's because they gave me the pain pills that was less than I've been taken for 10 years... There's better places out there don't mess with them”

“I think any type of pain management is an absolute joke! Every time u go through that type of thing they make u pee in a cup take blood, ask a gazillion questions! It's a massive invasion of privacy! It's bad enough that when u see an actual PCP u go through basically the same thing! My husband was asked to do pain management just to see what they would say! He was diagnosed with narrowing of the spine it's very debilitating he also has some other heath issues going on! doctor came in to see him ! She basically said because of his mental problems were that bad! That his PCP was poorly managing his mental health! That the pain isn't that bad! That she wanted him to do water therapy! That she would have some patch sent to the house ! The whole appointment was a complete joke! When a person is diagnosed with severe spinal cervical issues or anything like or other severe health issues that cause severe pain! Of any sort! We as human beings have to go through so much just to get a little help! Which is not right! NOT everyone should be put in a category ! It's a disgrace that we have to go through all these hoooops just to get help and for someone to LISTEN !”

“Dr. Kaplan is very neglectful. She goes on multiple vacations and has her staff reschedule appointments with the promise that your medication will be sent to the pharmacy. When your medication is not sent to the pharmacy and you call the office multiple times to get your prescriptions sent to the pharmacy while doing without for DAYS at a time. She does not care that you have withdrawals. She does not care about the time it takes to call her office month after month because she fails to send in your medication to get you through until your next appointment. Don't ever let them reschedule your appointment until your medication is at the pharmacy. You have been warned.”
