Patient Testimonials

I wouldn't wish this place on my worst enemy. The nurses at the front desk are rude, when you call in and are lucky to get ahold of someone they act like you are bothering them. When you get there to register their attitude is just as bad. The wait time is horrendous, you get there early and wait at minimum 40 minutes pay your time slot. They take you back and you wait even longer. When your doctor arrives (I have met with two) they are as miserable and as rude as their nurses. No bed side manner or customer service training for them at all. I work with customers for my job and if I was ever this rude I would be fired. They then treat you like a drug addict no matter how you answer their questions. My experience was beyond awful and I am surprised Crozer allows this level of rudeness to be in their hospital. Never had a bad experience with any other part of their hospital system.

This place should be avoided if at all possible. During our last visit my wife was treated horribly. First we waited for 45 minutes in waiting room. Then she waited alone in back for a least as long. I was not allowed to go back with her. My wife has been a patient there for years. She has spinal damage, nerve damage, and arthritis. Constant pain. 62 yrs old. The doctor, Sherry Jose, talked down to her, made her dump out all her medication bottles, told her to count all the pills. He accused her of taking too much of some medications and not enough of others. After his intense interrogation he cut her back on all medications and said, "on next visit we are going to have long talk." Superior attitude. She was in tears when we left. She followed all medication prescription instructions to the letter! The man is heartless. Thinks he better than anyone else, especially women. Avoid at all cost. Chester Crozier should strongly consider a change in staff at their pain clinic!

Impossible to get pain medication when you really need it. You have to jump through a ton of hoops for nothing. I had to pay $50 for each visit and they make you do 3 visits. On 2 of the visits I was drug tested. On one of the visits they make you talk to some pain psychologist who basically makes you feel like a criminal and like they don't trust you. It is a horrible experience. After all is done I've paid $150, had to coordinate time off from work with my supervisor which is an inconvenience, been made to feel guilty that I need pain medication, and all I was given was Tramadol which is very weak and I already have tried it. They now refuse to see me anymore because I voiced my opinion about how they made me feel and how awful the process is. Please save yourself the trouble and do not go to Crozer Pain Management.

I found Crozer PM thru my insurance and came in not knowing what to expect. I attended all meetings in preliminary to becomimg a patient and yes it is exstensive. And honestly I'm glad for it. They informed me of how serious it is to taking medication and the effects that may occur. They do hard screening of patients and I'm glad for it. The reciptionist are nice and professional and have good chemistry to my standards.I believe that they have a high standard for patients that they will allow to be seen by said practice because the hospital is watching the type clients that come in to the hospital and because of Crozers location they have to make sure that patients are in need and not short term issue having indivduals. They always answer my calls and also have an answering service. And also have one lady for incoming appoinments and one for out going to send information to other doctors or confirm next appoinments .The receptionist gave me a printout of other doctors in the hospital when i mentioned moving my other doctors and i used the list and have seen nothing but a great hospital all the way around.Because of Pain Mgnt i moved several of my care givers into the location. riff raff doctors don't send patients here and riff raff patients don't exist here.I would like to take a half of star back because the lobby chairs hurt now that i think of it. they also allow me to see the pain physcolgist regularly to monitor my mental state which assures me that I'm not changing in mental state for the worst.Send your loved one hear and come in with them as other family members do and speak people in the lobby.I've never heard anything bad.
