“I had seen another pain management dr in the past, I was his patient for over a year, he never changed any meds, he never heard me when I said the pain was increasing, I finally gave up and left his office and just decided pain would be my life forever. It took me years before I decided to try one more time with a pain doctor, I could no longer function because the pain was overwhelming. I found Dr Herrera by chance, had no real expectations with him, but I went to my first appointment. I left got into my car and cried, for the first time I felt heard. His words were so encouraging, but I was still skeptical. Over a year later, and several, I mean several medication changes, I can actually live a somewhat better life. “I can't begin to tell you how much of a life saver this place, Dr Herrera and his staff have been for me . I've been a chronic lower back and both hips pain sufferer for over 25 yrs. I've been to more so called pain doctors than you can shake a stick at ... and a couple of chiropractors whom I thought were going land me in a wheelchair instead of out of one. 5 yrs ago I was seriously ill that required 6 mos. recovery. But the one good thing about that was during that time my pain was unbearable and I was thankfully recommended to Comprehensive. 1st...easy to get appt. around my schedule not just where they throw you, I always get at least a couple of options... then when you arrive you'll fill some paperwork out, it's self explanatory, but the wait time is negligible...I don't think I've ever waited more than 10 min to get taken to a room. I've never been looked at like i have 4 eyes, only professional treatment and trying things that are aimed at helping me maintain a mostly pain free lifestyle. They work with suggesting treatments and maintenance and allow for finding out what insurance will or will not cover and what you might be comfortable with out of pocket And they don't do things just to do em or pile up a nice bill . The main concern in my case anyway is how to keep me upright. . Oh, and the pharmacy screwed my meds up and Dr Herrera called the pharmacy and straightened it out on his own time.... who does that??? The staff there is awesome and are willing to try as best they can to give you a quick and thorough treatment that's best for you. So if you need a really good pain clinic then give Comprehensive Pain a call. What's the worst that can happen, you actually get treatment and looked at like you have 2 eyes instead of 4??
