What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I am writing after significant reflection, not out of anger, but from a place of truth, professionalism, and healing. I will never forget the period in my life when I became bedbound due to severe pain following an injury sustained while working as a nurse at an HCA facility. At that time, Dr. Barsanti was a physician contracted by HCA to treat injured employees--care that was reimbursed through the hospital system and its associated corporate and insurance structures. Mechole Rajab is poorly educated Throughout my course of treatment, I experienced a pattern in which my pain and functional decline were minimized. Decisions surrounding my care felt driven more by insurance coverage, corporate cost containment, and reimbursement considerations than by a comprehensive clinical evaluation and the ethical responsibility we hold as healthcare professionals to relieve suffering and protect patient dignity. Following treatment, my condition deteriorated to the point that I became wheelchair-bound and ultimately bedbound. I share this perspective not to assign blame, but to highlight the lasting impact that rushed, dismissive, or system-driven care can have on a patient's life--particularly within large corporate healthcare structures. I want you to know that I forgive you. My sincere hope is that my experience encourages reflection and leads to greater compassion, patience, and ethical mindfulness in the care of future patients, especially those whose pain may not be immediately visible or easily measured.”

“I am a patient of Dr. Barsanti's, I first sought his help in Oct 2007. He truly listens which is not easy to find. He also is very good at walking me thru any procedure he has done over the years. Thanks to his expertise I have made it all these years without having surgery. His staff is very nice as well. Highly recommend him!”

“As a registered nurse, I came to Dr. John M. Barsanti and LPN Mechole Rajab with a deep understanding of healthcare and trust in the system. Unfortunately, my experience with their care has been deeply disappointing and has caused significant, lasting harm. A poorly administered injection and the lack of appropriate follow-up care left me in excruciating pain, to the point where I had to rely on a wheelchair for recovery. This was a profoundly difficult experience--both physically and emotionally--that could have been avoided with better attention, communication, and care. What makes this even harder to accept is the apparent prioritization of insurance-driven decisions over genuine patient well-being. Despite my professional knowledge, I was left feeling dismissed and unsupported when I needed help the most. I share this not to disparage but to advocate for change. Patients--especially those already vulnerable--deserve a standard of care that is compassionate, thorough, and responsive. I hope this review serves as a reminder of the significant impact healthcare providers have on their patients' lives. If you are considering care here, I urge you to advocate strongly for yourself and seek providers who place your well-being at the center of their practice.”
