“I want to second the comment about shock (and anger) for the bad reviews. Sorry for the rant here but I have seen multiple docs from here for years and they truly are life savers. The staff are detail oriented have been empathetic the few times I have needed to reschedule. All the docs I have seen have been EXTREMELY knowledgeable and go above and beyond honestly. It's sad that the loudest voices on here are likely the outliers who try to tank an entire practices reputation because they themselves were late, forgot an id, etc. You want someone else not to get the full time with their doctor because they are trying to squeeze you in later? They already go over sometimes (and stayed after closing once for me) because I ask a lot of questions and they wanted me to feel comfortable/involved in my treatment plan. They chose to sacrifice the money for the time slot you caused to be empty instead of rush other patients in the day... and it sounds like they still let you reschedule? I'm really not trying to say every bad review on here is 100% wrong. Can I imagine sometimes a staff person is human and having a bad day? Ofcourse. But this office as a whole is really competent and kind, and to give a 1 to an entire practice for one experience especially if it's not their fault is selfish to other patients in my opinion. There are like NO OTHER pain practices in the area, and no wonder for that when people expect them to be Santa Clause and throw a fit if they aren't. By carelessly leaving a bad review all you do is risk other patients not getting (truly life saving) care.”

“I scheduled a follow up for my 81 mother with Dr. Manansala after she was discharged from the E.R. with a spinal fracture. This was at the hospitals recommendation. I am doing my best at recently needing to care for and transport my mother - a widow of 5 months, who could barely walk into their office (tripping over the 8 or so carpet runners they have, with her walker. They should reconsider those.) We were 15min late and they turned us away because of it. I cried in their waiting room as I was desperate to get help for her. I couldn't believe they wouldn't even give us the option to wait. I understand we were late but I have almost never attended any appointment, with any doctor, where I am not the one waiting for them. Turns out they did me a favor, as I brought her back to the hospital that very day. She had a UTI and a blood clot in her leg, in addition to the fracture. I am still in disbelief that they would turn away an 81 year old who could barely walk in the place with a walker and assistance. I will never personally attend this practice and plan to do everything I can to see she gets a different referral when the time comes. I am honestly disgusted by how we were treated. I was polite in person, but not holding back in sharing how this office treats their patients. The lack of empathy was disheartening at the time, now I'm just angry. Coming back to update that this practice looked up MY personal phone number to call me to cancel my mother as a patient over my initial review. I have never met anyone at this office other than when I rescheduled the day that we were late. They stated that I am a representative of her. They really doubled down on treating their patients poorly. They took an opportunity to apologize or have a conversation and instead discharged her from the practice over my review. I would be embarrassed if I worked there.”

“If you or a love one is in pain, please Do Not consider being a patient at this office. You will be disappointed and degraded by the staff at some point. Sarah and Sierrah who are management and scheduler "spew venom" and should not be allowed to have any contact with patients at all. As a new patient, I was referred by my neurosurgeon after spinal cord surgery. I called a month in advance to changed my appointment. The scheduler had an issue with changing my appointment and said she would hang up on me. I reported her to Sarah, explaining that I've never had someone threaten to hang up on me because I wanted to reschedule. Sarah said because they are a private office, she is discharging me as a patient. I was in shocked at the unapologetic, callous, heartless, ruthless way this office treats their patients. The situation only called for an apology and move forward. Please let your referring doctors know that this office is dysfunctional and unprofessional. Explore other pain management office first because When you're in pain, you want to deal with a staff that is empathetic and pleasant. This is Not that kind of office. They don't care!!!”

“To say that my husband's life has been impacted positively by being treated by Dr. Manansala From CNY Spine and Pain Medicine is an understatement! When we first walked in there approximately six months ago, my husband was hunched over using a cane and an extreme pain in both his neck and back. We were facing most likely a second surgery on his neck and then not sure what could be done for his back. Dr Manansala reviewed my husband's records and imaging, gave us his recommendations for how to proceed with his neck and back and absolutely knew what he was doing! My husband is now totally pain-free in both areas and doing wonderfully! I cannot recommend this clinic and Dr strongly enough.”
