“I had been going to Dr. Rink for a few years to treat my fibromyalgia. He tried 3 or 4 different medications with me. None of them worked long-term. We finally had the opioid discussion after suffering through a month long flare. I was prescribed Vicodin. For two days, the pain was so bad that I took a double dose. I called the nurse, because I was not comfortable doing this long-term. I got a call back saying that Dr. Rink was ending my prescription because I took more than I should have. Instead of bringing me into the office to discuss other options, he basically said that I was out of luck. This is heartless, denying a medication that was actually helping because I took a double dose, TWICE. He has an attitude, and I will no longer be his patient.”
