“I had the dishonor of meeting Berstein by referral for a second opinion. Her opinion was as if she'd never seen day 1 of medical school. This Dr.'s one if those unhappy sour people who pushes it off on the world. Mind, body, spirit correlations, forget about it it won't be even remotely considered. I highly suggest that good people don't waste time on this place or this alleged Dr bc she's far from making my care team. If you knew my challenges and what she suggested you too would believe she's not an intelligent being. Or perhaps she only helps people with zero pains but I wouldn't send an animal to her for help let alone a human. Be warned people she's got -100 on the human compassion scale. You could have a knife sticking out your chest a d she will tell you you're just fine. Next. They don't allow zero stars so she inadvertently receives a star of undeserved merit. Run forest RUUUNNNN FROM THIS RETCHED DR!!!”

“Please, believe all of the one stars... I'd give zero if possible... Was there with my fiance and couldn't believe the way she was treated. All of the office personnel were absolutely amazing, but.... Dr. Bernstein was absolutely abhorrent. Treated her like a junkie. Though "We don't use that term here." She recommended drug treatment options. My fiance was with her prior pain management specialist for 16 years and tried a bunch of different options over those years, finally finding something that worked. Unfortunately, the insurance doesn't carry him anymore and would be way too expensive to come outta pocket for. He's also close to retirement, so either way we would've been in this predicament... Dr. Bernstein didn't seem to want to listen to any of that, choosing to go straight to Suboxone or Methadone... Like, what the hell... She doesn't need a fix, she just wants to function as normally as she has been. Didn't ask about past treatments tried and how it effected her. How well they worked or didn't work. Didn't want to believe that some treatments would mess her up so much, she'd nod out or be barely coherent... Sounds like a certain someone gets certain kickbacks from certain pharmaceutical companies... Unfortunately, it seems like the one that make the medication that my fiance takes isn't one of them...”
