“I had gone to Dr. J for over 12 years. She gave me care even when I didn't have insurance. She is a "Pain Management" doctor. She doesn't just dish out pain meds so if that's what you are looking for them you better keep looking. She did help me, I was totally happy with her. She diagnosed me with chronic pain syndrome, degenerative disc disease, migraines and several other conditions. However after 13 years, January 2020.she divorced me as a patient. She did not give me an explanation as a matter of fact, I was basically kicked out of her office by her staff and was later sent a letter in the mail. Not only was that very disappointing. Not to mention being unprovoked and unprofessional. I followed her directions very carefully. I never failed a drug test. I Have no idea why after 13 years she could do that as a doctor. Fortunately, in March 2020 I found an amazing new Pain Specialist. He has alternative therapy and treatments including Radio frequency injections. I am now not just existing, I am thriving. So I suppose I should thank her. For almost 5 years I am being treated by Dr Brian Thoma at Cahaba Pain and Spine Care 2010 Patton Chapel Rd # 200, Hoover, AL 35216”

“Dr. Janush has treated me for an extremely painful chronic injury for more than 14 years. In all probability, she saved my life. Her efforts to find relief for me were never exhausted. While I have at times had to wait an hour or more to see her that is an exception, and is explained by the length of time she takes with her patients. My first visit with her was two hours long. She has been very thorough and compassionate, she listens to my questions and offers understandable responses. She suggested a neurostimulator for me which helped tremendously. She is, in my long experience with her and in my opinion, an excellent doctor. However, I have found her office staff unreliable. I have frequently left messages and questions which never received a response. Dr. J is sometimes slow to complete needed reports or documents for my disability ins carrier, but I suspect her staff may be responsible. She has also charged an exorbitant fee to draft a letter for me, and it was explained to me that it was because she expedited the letter, though she had the request for the letter for a month. I have never had a negative experience with DrJ herself but have many times been very frustrated with her staff. I think she's an excellent doctor and an outstanding lady. She's very personable, approachable, understanding and compassionate, with an exuberant, vivacious personality. I rate four stars only because of the admin frustrations.”

Oral medications only provide a few hours of relief, but Dr. Janush was able to provide a longer lasting relief to my condition with injections. She's not just a great doctor though, she is a beautiful person that truly loves her patients. She doesn't just breeze in and out of the room. She takes time to listen, answer any questions, and she provides a whole concept approach to advising patients of at home care.”

“Dr. Janush has been a great doctor for me since 1997. She is very professional, knowledgeable, stays up-to-date on all forms of medical treatment, medications and forms of rehabilitation. I would not be in physical condition which keeps me functioning for a soon to be 68 yr old female. I have referred her to family members & friends. All she asks is that you listen to her advice and follow her instructions. She is the best in her field.
