“I came to Dr. Stern after the BACK center stop accepting patients for pain management. I met with Dr. Stern twice, and both times he attempted to lower my current pain prescription. At that time, I was scheduled to get a triple bypass surgery and I did not think it was wise to lower my dosage due to the surgery. He insisted on lowering without consideration. I am so glad I decided to see another pain mgmt DR after my surgery. It was well needed. I do not recommend going to this practice. Stay away!”

“I was reffered to Dr. Stern after 3 other pain management clinics did not meet my expectations. Dr. Stern took his time with me and explained what my L4-L5 and L5-S1 showed on my MRI and didn't try to BS me. He was honest and upfront from the very beginning and explained my options. I had a nerve block procedure done by Dr. Stern a few weeks later and had high hopes. Unfortunately, the injection did nothing to improve my back pain so we talked about plan B. Plan B was a local injection (in office) in my L5 facet joint today (12/12/24). Unfortunately, that was not effective as well. So why a positive review? I'm writing a positive review because Dr. Stern and the entire staff never gave me false hope, took time to plan out a treatment plan and were incredibly professional to work with. Plan C is for me to see a surgeon but I cannot thank Dr. Stern and his staff for the compassionate bedside manners and doing what they could to help me out. I highly recommend them!”
