I have been going to this clinic for many years. They are very consistent with effective treatments. It is difficult to feel heard in today's health care system. It is easy to feel anonymous, like you are just another number so easily dismissed. At Cape Cod Pain, even though they have a lot of patients it never feels that way. I don't know of any other staff that would would make a point to give a hug, and words of encouragement when you're struggling to make sure you're ok. Everyone in that office is amazing, they listen and do what they can for you. That is what health care should look like, treating the whole person. Pain is a complicated, personal experience. It's about quality of life as well as quality of care, one in the same at Cape Cod Pain Management. Huge thanks to all the staff.

March,2022: seen by Dr.Gannon and the Nurse Practitioner, however phones go to voice-mail, unable to get through. if your lucky you may get a person you explain purpose of your call for the Dr and don't get a return call not to mention hung up on by staff who did answer phone after me trying for 5 days, Urinalysis procedures I absolutely question! I question these reports! I don't do drugs of any kind NEVER in MY LIFE and never tested positive for any drug test for work , any previous ,& current physcian random screenings or monthly one's per pain management contract and I've always tested negative for over 18 years . I @ first visit give my urine which remained in an unsecured bathroom that others use and, the following month @ my second visit I'm told by Dr.Gannon I tested positive for cocaine (very small trace amt he says) absolutely impossible I told him because I DO NOT DO DRUG'S never have and never would & that couldn't have been my urine sample tested because it definitely would have been negative. I said "my urine if that one tested was even mine, and not someone else's then my urine was tampered with after I left my urine sample", screening even said I tested positive for a medication in my Urine that is not prescribed, that also is NOT TRUE my medication list in my chart clearly shows this medication is in fact prescribed to me and has been for a very long time. He says nothing about that though even the lab made an error in data entry because these results are wrong.. MA make the mistake ? Someone did. I give them a urine sample during (2nd visit ) this time I insisted I hand my urine sample directly to Medical Assistant because I do not trust it being left in that unsecured bathroom, so @ the following month's follow up visit nothing is said to me what my urine test came back as, I had to ask I at this point I don't trust them and was told "oh it's negative" as if I was bothering her tone of voice as she said it , because the last visit in fact had bothered me so much that while @ 3rd visit this time with NP, I mention how upsetting this has been to me because it is NOT true at all, I Do not do drug's and, I was not given the option to challenge the urine test result from 1st urine test and that I even called the lab who's name and number that was on test result sheet Dr.Gannon gave me During the 2nd visit at office and when I called that number i got through to a live person and the person told me they do covid 19 testing only. I was shocked by what I had just been told. At next appointment expressed politely to NP that I request that the first Urinalysis screen be removed from medical records because i know it is wrong she told me after leaving the exam room and spoke to office staff what I said to her. I know this because I saw, and heard her, the exam room door was left open.she said to me after making my next follow up appointment with Dr.Gannon in a month(btw never took place )for further treatment (injection) to my spine, and to talk to office worker at the front window on my way out before I leave to have it removed because that particular staff worker is the only one who can do it, who wasn't available I was told. This place has me looked at now as one who does by new Specialists. That don't know me but I am judged based off of this inaccurate screening that is still in my medical record & that is wrong on so many levels. I even mention what happened to me at Cape Cod pain management right up front and I'm made to look like a liar to new Specialists and it is so wrong and this place staff need to be trained better , office Manager extremely rude, unprofessional very argumentative, towards patient as well as the one who sits at the front desk window she too has an attitude problem, and ANSWER THE PHONES! THIS IS A DR.OFFICE AND PATIENTS CANNOT GET THROUGH TO OFFICE. MESSAGES GO UNRETURNED. VERY UNPROFESSIONAL FRONT END OFFICE STAFF. What kind of Doctor's office doesn't answer phone's? This o ridiculous.

Very difficult to get in touch with someone and once you do they never get back to you. I've once been left on held for 15 minutes while they looked for a referral and never came back to the line. Never mind the several times they never called me back when i either left a message or spoke to someone. I've called several times and had my pcp send several referrals, all of which were ignored. Believe the reviews, look elsewhere.
