Patient Testimonials
“I'm 77 years old, have had 3 back surgeries and numerous spinal injections. About 4 years ago I was referred to Dr Savu. First visit was with his APN. She saw the pain I was in and got me "worked in" that afternoon for a pain shot, not a spinal injection. I made another appointment for two weeks. Due to insurance limitations Dr Savu could only give me a "test shot" that required i rate my pain every six hours. Another appointment was made for a second "test shot" (insurance policy). Finally insurance would pay for radio frequency ablation, pain relief for 6 months. The next few months were great pain free. I've had my second radio frequency ablation that lasted over a year. Dr Savu's staff have been terrific to me.”

“If I could score lower than 1 star, I certainly would. I went to this clinic with my best friend one day. Her appointment with the doctor was 3 hrs and 41 minutes begging her scheduled time. Pain? Yeah, from sitting in the waiting room chairs! Once my friend was called back to the exam room, a nurse performed the usual routine of temperature, BP, pulse ox, etc. then left the room, just to sit for another 48 minutes. Once Doctors APN came in, she filled my friend's prescription for medication and we left the exam room just to spend another 35 minutes with the receptionist to schedule my friends next appointment, of which never happened so my friend was asked to call for her next appointment. She never saw the actual doctor, and we spent the majority of the afternoon sitting in the office. Dr. Savu needs to understand that his patients time is JUST AS IMPORTANT AS HIS TIME. Before you "contract" with this doctor, take your OWN CONTRACT for HIM to sign, stating that if YOU aren't seen within 15 minutes of YOUR appointment time, then the DOCTOR owes YOU compensation for YOUR time. My friend has went to this dr for several years, and I told her that I will wait 15-20 minutes after my appointment time, and if it goes over THAT, and you continue to wait, I just leave. It's bad enough to BE in pain all the time, but when you have to sit for hours in that pain, it worsens the pain. Personally, I wouldn't recommend this doctor bc of the wait times. It's OVER THE TOP. Make Dr. Savu, sign a contract about appointments, same as the office asks YOU to sign a paper regarding appointment times. If YOU aren't seen within 15 minutes late, they refuse you. If THEY aren't seen within 15 minutes late, charge them for YOUR time. If they refuse to sign YOUR "contact" DONT SIGN THEIRS AND LEAVE. There's other pain doctors that won't make you wait for hours past your appointment time.”

“0/10 he forces injections on people when they don't want or need them as a requirement to get medicine. He forcibly held me down to do a injection. He does not offer any form of sedation or numbing for the injections and they are extremely painful.”
