“Wow, where to start! Could not recommend this place, staff, and Dr. Bux more!! I was pretty badly injured with a herniated disk that is pressing on my left leg nerve root earlier this year. I've been in chronic pain in one way or another since then. When my ortho told me I needed injections, I panicked! I am terrified of needles and especially a gigantic needle going into my spine! I told my Orthopedic I wanted to be sedated, like completely asleep! He had sent me to another place first that just gave off horrible vibes and ended up telling me that they would in fact NOT put me to sleep. I refused treatment. Had another consult with him where he said there is no one that can sedate you completely, I didn't believe that but I was feeling pretty defeated at this point. But The Lord and my wonderful physical therapists (Winchester Drayer Physical Therapy if anyone is curious) found a different way and that was Bux!! Called the office, they got me in quickly, was able to get the referral from the ortho (which THANKFULLY they had sent patients to Bux before), and got in for my consult. As soon as I walked in the staff was super friendly and hospitable, they actually looked and talked to you like a normal person and not like a number. They sat there and talked with me, reassured me, and when Bux came in to talk, I don't think I've ever had a doctor with such good bedside manners! He answered all of my questions without making me feel like an idiot for asking them, kept calm while I was literally sitting there shaking, and just made you feel like a human. Got the injection scheduled for 2 weeks later (yesterday). I'm freaking out trying my best to keep calm. My nurse comes in, Melinda, super super SUPER sweet lady!! She said, "hang tight sweetie, Miss Mary's come in here and put your IV in and we'll get ya going". Miss Mary was the anesthesiologist, the SWEETEST thing you'll ever meet in your life! Took her time talking to me, letting me ask any and all questions, and just patting me on the arm saying I promise you we'll take good care of you and Bux will too! She got my IV in but had to wait for a bit to be taken back to the procedure room (which was fine), she came in many times while I was waiting to check on my nerves and always had a big smile on her face. Finally the time came. Went back to the procedure room and now I'm really freaking out cause holy crap, this is it ! Bux was sitting right there, talked to me when he could, asked me how I'm hanging in there, Miss Mary came in patted me and said the same thing. She got on my eye level and walked me through what she was getting ready to do. Told me this is the medicine to knock me out and she said you'll start to feel it in a minute or 2. Told her yep I start to feel it and the next thing I know is that I'm talking to her again. I don't even remember what I asked at first but it didn't even feel like I fell asleep. I just asked into the void, is it over? Yep!! We are done sweetie you did great! Got me in a wheelchair, took me back to my room, let me lay down and wake up for a bit, brought me in something to drink, and constantly checked on me!! Bux passed my room and popped in (door was open). How you doing, you waking up a bit? I said yep, I feel good! Awesome, well just take it easy today and that should start to work within a 48 hr window. You might even feel it now. He told me it went well and I did wonderful! Thanked him profusely for everything he's done! He said you're welcome, I'm glad I was able to help! It seems like you haven't had the best experience with doctors and I said nope I sure haven't. He wished us a Merry Christmas and went on his way!! If you're a nervous Nellie like me and your ortho tells you they can't sedate you, nah don't listen to them, call Bux's office and they'll get you squared away!! I wish I could give this place 100 stars cause they've earned it!! Thank you Dr. Bux and staff and I wish all of you a Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year!!!”

“I'm a fairly new patient and today I was extremely upset due to pain and the insurance process. Unfortunately they dismissed me because I questioned the care. They said I upset the office. I'm pretty sure egos were involved with this decision. They scared me in telling me I could only get one referral a year after firing me as a patient. Be careful. I'm thinking I did not have good enough insurance. So fortunately now it's been a huge blessing. I'm not with them and I'm receiving the best of care with no surprise billing.”
