What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I was referred to Dr Whatcott about 7 months ago. My 1st visit with the Dr was good. He listened and recommended a pain management plan that was a light dose of Tylenol with Codeine. I went back monthly as required but never saw Dr Whatcott. I saw his Nurse Practioner. The NP took urine samples every visit. The NP said my urinalysis had traces of Morphine and Hydrocodone and was abnormal. I've never taken those drugs and did some research. I found out it was common for your body to metabolize Codeine into Morphine and Hydrocodone. It said 93% of Caucasians metabolize Codeine into Morphine, and up to 11% of the Codeine analysis can show as Hydrocodone. I explained this to the NP based upon my research and said it wasn't abnormal. Anyway after 4 "normal" urinalysis were misinterpreted as abnormal, I was told they wouldn't see me anymore. This is outrageous. Someone supposedly managing your pain kicks you to the curb because they don't know how to interpret a urinalysis. A competent clinic would have researched this and have practioners with better education.”

“The Dr. & Nurses are very good I've never had a problem with the medical service. But the scheduling department are VERY RUDE, & from month to month the scheduling rules change. 1st it's you only need to call the week before you need to be seen, and the next it's you should've called a month ago. It's a nightmare dealing with them every month! The billing dept. Is also horrible there's only one person & she is RUDE!”

“The Dr. is nice the APRN ....Depends on which one you get on how you are treated. Overall experience your summary notes will be completely different than what your vist was. My chart says things were discussed that wasn't & says I was warned I was going to be terminated as a patient the APRN I saw didn't warn me or even tell me I was being terminated I had to find out by reading it in my visit summary online. They also don't list all your health problems in your chart and will suggest alternative treatment 1 time then never discusses it again and says you are constantly giving excuses for not having that treatment when in fact they are not following up with suggested treatment. If you use this office you better double check your chart against your visit.”
