“Is there seriously a ONE star review because the front desk denied a referral that was never received? They won't take you without a referral and your doctor didn't send it. You have to follow rules. The staff isn't "making" those rules. Insurance, the state of Virginia and the Federal government are making the rules. The staff are good and kind within the limits of the laws. The doctors are extremely competent and also have to follow rules they aren't making but have to follow. We're lucky the staff and the doctors still want to do this line of work considering all the rules they have to follow, all the rules they have to enforce AND getting fused at for doing it.”

“I had a very disappointing experience with this clinic. The receptionist was extremely rude and denied my referral right away without receiving it, citing "policy." After I expressed my frustration, she said she would check with the medical director and referral coordinator. Later, I received a voicemail saying they do not treat fibromyalgia. This is especially upsetting because their website clearly lists fibromyalgia (along with cancer care) as a condition they treat. I am in cancer remission and was hoping for alternative care options to manage my pain, but instead was met with dismissiveness and conflicting information. To make matters worse, I called back requesting to speak with the medical director, but no one ever returned my call. The lack of professionalism, compassion, and consistency between what is advertised and what is actually offered is unacceptable.”
