Patient Testimonials

I get treated like a human being and actually treats my pain with injections and medications that help me be able to get out of bed for a little bit to couple hours daily. I'm 45 but my arthritis and fibromyalgia stared 20 years ago and has only gotten worse and some Drs tried to tell me pain pills don't work for my pain LMAO. Yes they do work for me when my pain is at a level 8 and after taking my meds it be level 5 or 4

I am 17 years old and was diagnosed with teathered cord syndrome about 3 years ago and had immediate surgery. Unfortunately, since it was caught at such a late age, I still suffer from EXTREMELY severe back and neck pain. This guy just flat out did not understand how bad my pain was, how much it was affecting my life, and how big of a problem it was. Appointments: He would come in the room, talk obvious nonsense with no pauses to even catch a breathe, and left without me even having a chance to talk. And when I would get a few seconds to try to explain why I am 17 in a damn wheel chair, couldn't get out of bed, couldn't even sit on a toilet, couldn't LIVE MY LIFE - he would say some stupid s**t like, "yeah, it's just a bummer that this has happened but ya gotta be strong." He prescribed me tramadol for the pain. That's it. My dog takes tramadol for leg pain!!! Never noticed the least bit of relief from it. As bad as my pain already was, with nothing to give me relief, I had a flair up at one point. So "Dr." Platt knew exactly what to do. He gave me trigger point injections. THIS MADE IS SO MUCH WORSE! When I tried to contact him about it being so insanely worse, he did nothing. During the duration of the time I was seeing this "doc" I was in sheer missery. I called his office almost every day litterally crying because the pain was so great, hoping that he would do something to help me. Eventually I got a letter in the mail that basically said he does not have anything to offer me. So just because I am 17 and have such an intense condition, "Dr." Platt would not see or treat me. THIS MAN IS A COWARD. Luckily, I am seeing an amazing pain doctor now who listens to me and understands my pain. With my current doctor, I'd say my pain level has decreased on an average of about 30-40% which is huge! My enjoyment of life has gone up greatly.

Dr. Benjamin Platt had done his homework before I had my appt. He knew my history without looking into my file. He may speak quickly but if you ask a question, he will stop and listen. I'm am happy to say I'm glad this man is on my team.
