“Back in February of 2010 I use to be a Patrol Sergeant with a Central Florida Police Department. I was on my way to work one day and was involved in a motor vehicle accident. As a result of the accident I lost my entire left leg and hip. After a very lengthy hospital stay I returned home and was told by my MD that I would be referred to a Pain Management Doctor. Having been a Police Officer for 10 years I knew all too well the stigma that Pain Management Clinics had and I wanted nothing to do with it but knew I needed certain meds or else my pain would be unbearable so I went to the recommended Clinic and was dissatisfied almost immediately.
