What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“Valerie is awful. She hung up on me several times and threatened to send me to collections. I have only had two visits with this office and paid both times out of pocket. She also insinuated that because I don't have insurance there is no way I would have been seen which is in fact a lie. Dr guy is also a joke. They all treat you as if you want opioids. She literally looked me dead in the eye and said she wasn't prescribing opioids. I never asked and was only wanting to find answers to my pain which I finally found a dr that looked into my mri and helped you without the use of drugs. This office should be ashamed. Unless you aren't walking in there with a cane they treat you like a drug addict. Horrible place, move on!”

“I was a patient of Dr. Guy for 13 years. I followed her from St. Al's in Boise to her beginnings of Beacon Pain Clinic. At St. Al's I seen her once every 3 months, but after starting Beacon Pain and having a low number of clients at the beginning, I had to see her once every 2 months. Now after 13 year I received a letter in the mail (which took 2 weeks to get to me from the date on the letter head) letting me know she no longer wanted to see me because of a commitment I made to her. After 13 years of seeing her we knew each other quite well, but somewhere in in-between she changed her personal boundaries and I missed the signs. But to dump a patient that receives monthly medication for chronic pain with a 2 week notice is wrong. She knows there is no way a person can get into a new pain clinic in 2 weeks, let alone 2 months. After reading her reviews, it sounds like I was not the only one to receive this kind of treatment. I guess I should of realized what kind of person she was/is after I learned that she couldn't keep employees. Also if you're reading this, I dare you to call her phone # listen to the 54 second message, leave a message, and see just how long it takes for someone to call you back. Oh yeah, detox was aweful and the pain is so miserable I can barely move, but hopefully in another month, I might find a new pain management doctor. I prey everyday that I can anyway. She's the devil in a white smock who interests have change, and just wants to take care of her new Spa business.”

“Dr. Rebekah Guy has been my pain management doctor for years. She is THE BEST not only in my opinion, but in my other doctors opinions too. She's thorough, runs complete check ups, doesn't over med, doesn't under med, is reliable, and I find her sweet calm demeanor very refreshing. I've known Dr. Guy probably since she first started out as a MD and she's still the same sweet doctor I've always known. I am getting ready for surgery and she's never given up on me. Do not try to pull the wool over her eyes with narcotics seeking because she's a great doctor and will not play that game. I've had one other pm doctor before her who used to throw meds at me and when I didn't reorder them each month, he'd simply call them to be refilled anyway. I hated that and appreciate how Dr. Guy checks our meds, does UAs randomly. It's a way to protect me, but also protect herself. I've never had a problem with her or her lovely staff. She truly is a miracle worker in many lives with chronic, severe pain. When my pain gets too much I go unconscious. Since she's been taking care of my pain, she's resolving that by getting me the help I need like finding a surgeon to help relieve my pain plus a medication schedule. Meds are not meant to take ALL of the pain away - they are used with other things like P.T. and shots to give a better quality of life. If you don't like Dr. Guy it's probably because you're abusing your meds or trying to. We need more doctors like Rebekah Guy! My referring doctor ONLY refers her to his patients that need to go into pain management. And I trust her completely. You won't find a better doctor anywhere! Tonya V.”
