“Submitted on behalf of my husband, James Jeffery We Care Wellness Patient When I first came to NuBack in 2019 now known as We Care Wellness, I could not walk without the assistance of a cane, due to a previous work injury in 2014. While awaiting surgery for my knee, my other knee was impacted from my gait. I experienced back, hip and knee pain. I previously went to several doctors, and I was told that I could have a nerve ablation, or lifetime of a medication, neither one was very appealing. As I tried to ease the pain I was feeling, I turned to hydrotherapy at a local gym. There I met a good friend who was in a similar condition. The next time I saw him, he was walking upright. He told me about his experience with and I made an appointment. Before going in, I prayed that I would be okay with what was ultimately God's choice. Whether I was to heal or not, I wanted to be sure that I accepted the results. Then when I entered and began the treatments with the PT team, I was amazed at how much better I felt, I walked out of the first appointment without my cane. “The back therapy I received was very helpful in relieving my cronic lower back pain. After my second session I was able to turn off my back stimulator and keep it off. I also reduced my pain medicine by 50%. The therapy help me strengthen my core muscles and start down a path of less pain allowing me to start activities, like working around the house and in the garden, and enjoy myself.
