Patient Testimonials
“Update: I talked to Twila (Hope I spelled the right). She is the VP of operations and a very nice person it seems. She was patient and listened to everything I said. She also seemed appalled by the actions of one of her employees ("Dr." John W. Wages). She said she would immediately investigate this issue and get back with me and tell me what she has done. When she calls me back I will DEMAND an apology from Dr. Wages and I want to be assured that he will NEVER treat another patient that way. And In my humble opinion he should lose his license to practice medicine. I will keep you updated on what happens. Just went to this group and saw "Doctor" John Wages at the Cedar Park Facility Mr. Wages could not have cared less about chronic pain sufferers. I explained hat I had to have 6 back surgeries in the last year and a half. That even with the spinal cord simulator I was still in massive amounts of pain. He then tells me with a small smile on his face that he does not care how much pain I am in he was going to lower the medications by a third that I was getting before my last pain doctor closed he practice. He seemed to like the fact that he was going to torture me and knew that I really had no other choice of doctors within a couple hours drive of my home. I was reluctant to accept his "Services" , but in the end, I had to and he knew that. I will be sending a complaint to the medical board on this ""doctor". Anyone so callous and unfeeling has NO BUSINESS in the pain management field. I even told Mr. Wage that I do not really like the medications and would love an alternative, but at this point I have not other choice and that should something else become available to help without medications, like shots I would also go for that as I went for the spinal cord simulator. However at this point I would not trust this QUACK to tie my shoes correctly. He promptly crossed his arms and said I was free to go see someone else, but at this point I was almost out of medications and time off work to find and see someone else. I am glad that my boss likes me and the engineering work I do is very much needed. I am sure once I explain to my boss and my team the QUACK I saw today, they will understand and allow me to do what I need to do to get better. I am not typically a complainer or this outspoken even when I feel I was wronged, but this "doctor" has earned my full attention and dedication to exposing him. If your into being tortured ... this is your doctor!!If not run away ... run away FAST!!”

“Dr. Le was extremely personable, after describing my issue he talked with me about what my options were and suggested that I get an MRI. He mentioned that it was most likely a pinched nerve, but suggested an MRI to establish history. The entire experience was positive and I would definitely recommend him to friends and family if necessary. At no point during the visit did I feel he was talking down to me, or wasn't empathetic to my situation. After my experiences with Dr. King, my visit to Austin Pain associates was a breath of fresh air.”

“I have been going to this office for a few years now. I have been treated by several of the doctors and they are all great. Dr. Christine Anderson is my doctor and is by far the best and most gentle pain doctor I have ever had. I have had many over the past 30 years. They recently merged with another group that does not take my Humana insurance so I have to find another doctor. I really regret leaving and strongly recommend this group of doctors to anyone that needs pain management.”

“Dr Le is cold, heartless and unprofessional!! Years of multi MRI's, CT, Xrays, 5 failed surgeries and being on disability and STILL he says, "your claim of pain doesn't go with what your mri says." I have spinal nerve compression on multi levels, degenerative disk disease, failed back syndrome and a spinal cord simulator that does not work as it should after being installed. There is more painful history WITH multi doctors backing it up AND STILL will not even help me. He said, "anyone can get on disability, even I can write a script and have you put on it." ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!! I honestly wish my appointment was recorded. I KNOW the two nurses heard what was going on. I think Austin Pain Associates needs to get inspected by someone pretending to be a patient and record what REALLY happens in these appointments. I came to him because another pain doctor said there is no pill or patch opioid that my body responds to only liquid pain medication but refuses to give me a pain pump. Dr Le said reality is you might just have to come to terms that you will never get help or get better. O.O much more was said to me by him. I am glad i had a witness with me. I may just go to the medical board!!!!”
