I've had spinal injections done and my back is finally feeling better. I also see him to get trigger point injections for other muscle pains and am getting great relief. The nurse and staff was also very nice and accommodating.”

“"Emily L" nurse or PCR incorrectly and deliberately lied in our interaction/charting. After being a patient with Lawal for 4 years- I am tired of feeling unheard. After being advised to hold off scheduling the injection, and advised to go into the ER- I did just that. I then called Monday, and was told the soonest in clinic and Out of clinic appt was 3 weeks away. Though, tried scheduling the injection the previous week. I never refused the given date, but instead wanted both an in-clinic visit scheduled along with the existing ESI INJ. Appt. Called today to find out I wasn't even on the books for a back shot. Went into MyChart & realized the nurse I spoke with incorrectly worded and described a completely different interaction... though my mother was present during everything. Being with this clinic for 4+ years, I feel that often times a patient's problem is dismissed, unheard or ignored.... I'm simply tired. With my lupus chronic pain & my bulging discs, I simply just wanted to see my doctor in person to discuss the recent ER visit. Very disappointed with the clinic, the doctor and whomever handled Dr.Lawals scheduling team on 20th street.”

“I came with my Mother today at pain management for her appointment with Igwe, it seemed like a pleasant appointment at first then she asking why my mother was wearing dark sunglasses when she has a doctors note for. After we got home she put a lot of negative remarks about her both me and my mother were not too happy about it either. Igwe seems more concerned about the PHA Caitlin's notes and history with my Mother there than my Mother herself. My Mother needs to take a muscle relaxer and pain medication for her degenerative discs in her neck and spine. she has completed both physical therapy and chiropractic requirements and will try to find other formsof care. she is physically unable to take Nsaids and a various number of narcotic pain medications due to vomiting and intolerance, and needs to make physician aware of.she also has received trigger point injections twice this year, and under interventional pain wrote yes refill of gabapentin ? which she doesn't take due to allergic reaction. Also my mother did not ask for a TOC from caitlin, caitlin said she put a TOC and referral from my mother to igwe. just can't understand why the whole focus is on caitlins previous care of my mother and the things my mother didnt do years ago during a time of grieving the loss of her husband ( my dad) and to just focus on the present?”

“The reception team are all racist!! Do not get services at this LOCATION!! If you want to be treated equal. This isn't the office for you. The only male receptionist was very rude & negative towards me about coming late for an appointment that I was told it was okay for my late arrival. I was kicked out the office & treated like a criminal. Please don't do any business with this office. I have never been treated so low. I've been a patient for 15+ years and never had this issue happen. Please do letter Aurora with how you treat your patients.”
