“I was very disappointed with my last appointment. My Doctor left and they gave me a replacement. While the appointment was fine I was very disappointed that a 10 minute conversation cost me $490.00. My former doctor only charged me my $25 co-pay. I have been on the phone with 4 different parties. This appointment was simply a follow up regarding my herniated discs. I decided to go off of a medication, was advised that that would be fine and was given a new 5 day prescription. I do not understand why this is nearly $500. When I was told my original doctor was no longer there the front desk did not inform me that the new doctor might not be on my plan. I feel lied too and basically screwed over. This is not the way to treat patients. All my doctors are Aurora doctors and this was a shock and a huge disappointment. I might be ok with even half this as I understand seeing specialists can cost more but nearly $500 for a 10 minute conversation??? This is incredibly unfair.”
