What Patients Say
Patient Testimonials
“I have never written a review of a medical facility before but my experience with this clinic has been so bad I feel compelled to warn others. After months of trying to get an appointment, I finally went in hopeful that I may have some pain relief. I had a simple intake appointment lasting around 20 minutes where we discussed next steps. I then received a bill for $254. Billing told me that this came out of my deductible because they are "affiliated" with the hospital and it was considered an outpatient appointment. I was never made aware of this - had I known, I would have never made an appointment. I have spent weeks trying to debate this with insurance and the billing department. Getting ahold of anyone via phone is impossible. They've now charged me a late fee simply because no one has gotten back to me about this bill. Save yourself the time and go somewhere else unless you want a billing nightmare.”

“This place is so neglectful and dismissive. I've taken my mother often and on multiple occasions they don't schedule the right procedure on their end. The appointment ends up having to be rescheduled to another week because their receptionists or whomever doesn't put in the correct procedure to receive authorizations from the insurance. My mother has been in pain for weeks at a time because they aren't scheduling things correctly. Then constantly having to reschedule w them because of their negligence. They don't even try to accommodate you for their mistakes. This is the THIRD time this has happened!!!”

“An absolute EMBARASSMENT of a facility. Nurses are neglectful. Patient manager is disrespectful and does not care about the patients, she is completely uncoordinated and a disgrace to atrium health, she deserves to lose her job. Dr. Ravenbachk is a passionate about his job and clearly cares about his patients deeply, but he will NOT advocate for his patients and he does not take chronic illnesses seriously. the secretarys are sweet and genuinely care about the patients, but they arnt able to do their jobs correctly, they have poor communication with patients about wait times despite having a white board in the lobby to inform patients of delays, they do not utilize it. as a active patient of atrium health who usually loves atrium health, this facility should be reevaluated by corporate, and patient manager should be fired ASAP, she refused to give me an complaint form and instead gave me a blank piece of copy paper. I am now in contact with my Atrium health social worker to report the facility and transfer my care to a different office, because of this horrible staff I now have to wait even longer for my treatment as I was asked to leave.”

“I had the first appointment of the day but somehow ended up waiting an hour and a half to see the doctor. The receptionist told me if I had to use the restroom to go ahead and make a urine sample bc it was needed for my appointment, but there was no where to put the urine sample so I had to hold it in my hands in the waiting room around a dozen strangers while I waited (and it wasn't needed) So mortifying. Dr Ravanbakht talked over me during our appointment, interrupted when I had questions, and left the room to treat other patients TWICE during my appointment. I would give 0 stars if I could.”
