“I have a list of issues I'm dealing with due to some very serious injuries in my early 20s. I've broken 10 vertebrates in my back and have 19 rods in my back that still to this day cause pain and discomfort. Overall I was progressing pretty well since my car accident but always lived with consistent pain, migraines, and nerve pain. It was expected with the type of injuries I had sustained to my back and shoulders but just about 4 months ago in January 2022 I had to face yet another difficult physical challenge that completely took me out of just about everything from work to even the most minimal tasks. I had nerve pain so bad down my legs I barely could walk and my feet would go numb from sitting even 5-10 minutes. I dealt with it for about a month of misery before realizing something serious was going on and I needed to get treatment or surgery. I came across Select Health while doing research and figured I'd give it a chance. I appreciated the honesty and transparency in my first meeting and after getting an MRI I found out I had degenerating discs(@27 years old) and 3 of which were herniated/torn/bulging to go along with my 10 broken vertebrates. I'm not going to sit and tell you that I'm 100% better after 2 months of treatment at select health and I probably never will be 100% with the injuries I have. But these 2 Doctors have been amazing to work with and the treatment they do here is truly life changing. I've been feeling some great progress since I started and it only seems like every week gets a little better. You can't come in expecting to be 100% healed but you can expect to see some great progress and healing throughout your time here! Both of the doctors are super genuine and great to work with, and the technology they're using is awesome(I'd buy this technology myself if I could afford it hah) I look back on how miserable I was in February compared to where I'm at now and it's truly a blessing for me to see how far I've come. I'm very thankful for these guys and will most likely continue a maintenance plan on my back and neck/shoulders to help the healing process because I see the value at Select health! Last thing unrelated to my disc issues, I suffered from debilitating migraines for about 5 years and when a migraine hits I wanna cry it's so hard to deal with, I noticed since coming here I have NOT gotten a migraine which is officially the longest stretch( 70 total days) in 5 years I have gone without getting a migraine. For someone who was getting them once every other week sometimes multiple in one week, that in itself made coming here worth it. Hopefully this stretch continues and I only see more healing in my lower back and neck as well. If you're on the fence about coming here just do it!!! I don't think you'll regret it.
