Patient Testimonials

After an initial consult, Dr Khan set me up for a steroid shot in my lumbar spine. I've had chronic pain for 20 years. A respected neurosurgeon sent me to Dr Khan because he trusts him and felt that it would be best to not do surgery on my spine for fear it would make it worse. I was super nervous because so many of these pain clinic are complete scams. This one is NOT. Less than 24 hours after my shot and I am basically pain free for the first time in 20 years. How is it possible?! Why didn't the neurosurgeon I saw 20 years ago tell me? The shot itself didn't hurt. It felt odd. Pressure. A little odd discomfort that he said would go away after a few minutes... and it did. I walked out and drove myself home. I hope this result lasts. I feel taller. I can't wait to walk and build up some muscle tone. Pain such a vicious cycle. The more it hurts the more stationary you become, the more your muscles decline, the heavier you get. Terrible cycle. This may give me back some quality of life that I had long forgotten. And as a bonus, the Richardson office is near a great bakery (Ramallah) and I can swing by any time I have a visit! Yay! Now I can walk off those extra carbs! Thanks, Dr Khan!!!

As a person who has dealt with chronic pain for many years and often fell on deaf ears until I met Dr Khan in 2019 let me tell anyone who is skeptical to see him don't be he completely changed my life for the better... He is one of the most compassionate humans I have met in a very long time. He listens to what you have to say. Dr. Khan takes great pride in what he does as far as taking care of people that think they have no hope because of pain. I can honestly say that is so far from the truth. He works with you teaches you how to use pain medicine correctly. I can not say enough about him and his staff. When I first start going to him I was really not well. Thank you Dr Khan for giving me my life back even with chronic pain and Jeff his wife back. 1000/1000 recommend.

The staff at Pain & Spine are great. So friendly and helpful. Keira at the front desk is always so sweet, nice to talk to & compare nail colors! That little bit of positivity takes my mind off of my pain for a few minutes. The beautiful lady that starts the IV process, always just brings more positivity to the day. She makes the process of sticking a needle in my arm a little less stressful. :) Melissa is always so helpful to let me know what to expect. If I have a question, she always has an answer for me. I hope that something we do will take my pain away soon. We keep trying! Thank you all.

Dr. Khan is an amazing specialist and I look forward in working with him on managing my pain to help it get better. He really listens to his patients and has our back as long as we follow the plan, and he can be funny too. He made me laugh before my surgery and you don't see that enough. Also his nurse Sariah (I hope I have her name right) is the absolute best, she really cared and educated me on a lot before my procedure, I wish she worked at my primary office too. If you get her, you're in good hands. Come to this office!
